I found protein2O has 60 calories for 20oz and is whey protein isolate good way to add some protein. Can buy at Walmart Target and there are many flavors I like the coconut pineapple https://www.drinkprotein2o.com/shop/?utm_content=34635286217 5&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIm_W6xvKg4gIVARgMCh2lMgAJEAAYASAAEgICCPD_ BwE

I drank sugar free powerade and ate sugar free popsicles alot in the beginning. Now I only drink water or bai drinks (once in a while for the bai) My water has to be flavored though. Plain water hurts my stomach, so I use the tru lemonade packs in my water. I have never had a dumping episode so I can't comment on that.

Oh and premier protein drinks, I have one for breakfast every day.

Not everyone dumps, estimates are around 40 per cent who do, in some fashion.

I never drink anything that isn't zero calories. I'm a little surprised at the number of people who drink smoothies!!!!

I drink water. Liptons citrus ice tea, coke zero on occasion. Spending calories on drinks would definitely not work for me.

I also see that a lot of folks do smoothies. That doesn't seem like a long term option for me though. I guess I'll find out soon enough. Best intentions and all that, my body will sort itself out.

I will I'll go seek out the Lipton citrus iced tea. Thanks!! I'm a sweetened iced tea and lemonade fan, but I've been trying to ween off. I do definitely have some sensitivity to the sugars in them now. Especially if I drink it too fast. But it's fairly mild. Ill have to be more aware going forward to really watch my choices.

I'm not trying to be unkind but sugar is not your friend, whether you dum*****t. Sugar triggers fat storage and slows weight loss. Even if sugar doesn't make you feel unwell, you don't need to eat sugary things and drinking sugary drinks is even less recommended and isn't good nutrition.

I'm not worried about you being unkind. I know I have a sugar issue which is why I've been weening and the reason I'm asking about what alternatives work for other folks. Thanks for looking out

I'm glad. I don't like being unkind but definitely want to steer you away from sugar. One thing I don't think anyone's mentioned is that caffeine is dehydrating. That being said, I drink a lot of caffeine but I don't count that in with my fluids. Gotta have caffeine to percolate. Otherwise, well, you get the picture. I do drink decaf also. Protein shakes are good options the 1st couple of weeks as long as they are low sugar. I prefer premier, hydration + protein always good.

"caffeine is dehydrating" has been proven to be untrue.
