Whats on your Monday menu RNYers?
I had a reaction like that once from magnesium citrate. I ended up lying on the hall floor and thought I was dumping for about 15 minutes. I have taken it on other occasions with no problem. The bottle that made me sick was Walmart brand. I remember checking it for sugar afterward and there was none on the label.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Thanks. This bottle was a generic from Harris Teeter and the other dose was generic from CVS. Both had the same ingredients and neither listed sugar (which I don't have problems with) or SAs (which I DO have problems with), so I have no clue what it was. I only know that I don't plan to risk it again.

Good morning all!
I was lazy about the gym last week so I'm up and ready to kick some butt this morning. I had a bit of a wake up call--I was doing a weight loss challenge with some friends and today was the final weigh in. I was beaten by a "normie." It just made me realize how truly complacent I've gotten and I really need to get back to work and not be fine with "this is good enough." I do feel pretty good, a million times better than I was, but I'm nowhere near even my first goal, and in year 2, I should still be able to lose if I work at it.
Breakfast: coffee, protein shake
lunch: salad and whatever protein is being served today
snack: 2 HB eggs with sriracha if I need one
dinner: turkey burger with cheese

I too have become complacent. I do not like this about myself and I am going to really start logging and putting more effort into my last 10-15 pounds. I have become too comfortable with where I am and I am not done yet. Guess I will always be a work in progress.
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

It was great! Got to see some new bands and some old favorites. It was sunny enough that I got sunburned on my face, but got very cold at night and we left a bit early for that reason. All in all was a fun day though!

Good morning everyone. What a glorious weekend! We celebrated my daughter birthday on Saturday. It's amazing how our tastes and bodies have changed. I had a small sliver of her cake. It was white with lemon curd filling. I just ate the cake, no icing. I used to be one of those people that used to buy a bakery cake and have it on hand just to eat. I had literally 2 bits of the cake on Saturday and apparently, I don't like cake anymore. I have been cured of the cake!!!
I am headed into town this morning to grocery shop and set myself up to be successful this week. I really need to up my water. It has been warmer here and I just feel puffy. I too need to really buckle down with food. I need to recommit myself to the basics. It is so easy to get off track.
Food for today-
2 cups black coffee, 1 with Miralax
2 eggs, 1/2 c. cottage cheese
4 oz shredded chicken with romaine and green salsa
grilled halibut with lemon and capers, asparagus
Just 2 yogurt frozen
Lots of water and vitamins always
A nice walk tonight with my daughter
Good morning, everybody. Monday is our trash and recycles day. Yesterday afternoon, Marilyn cleaned out the refrigerator and freezer and dumped a pile of ice cubes out by the trash area. This was about 4:00 in the afternoon. When I went to the gym at 6:30 this morning, there was still unmelted ice in the pile. C'Mon its May 13th - we are more than half way through spring.
Don't feel too bad for me though, because in about two hours I leave for Miami Beach. Can't wait to feel the sun shining on me. I will be there for three nights. I was supposed to play golf with a client tomorrow but he had to cancel, so I have some free time. I may go to the beach, I haven't swam in the ocean for a long time.
Although I go to this meeting at the Fontainbleau nearly every year, I nonetheless still have serious reservations as to whether I am glamorous enough to hang in South Beach. Perhaps I should have asked Amber for tips. I didn't consult with my shopper, because the look that I'm really trying to avoid is "Will Wor****il He's 75 To Support a Second Set of Children"
69 Burpees.
QOTD: If I missed it I will go back and amend.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Plane fare (hopefully I get upgraded)
Snack: Sous vide egg bites at starbucks
Dinner: Room Service Steak
Have a great day, all.
