Unless the surgeon has a good reason for doing a sleeve, it's probably a mistake but it may have to go back through insurance again. Definitely call your surgeon's office and get it straightened out!

You might also want to find out what her experience is with bypass. My surgeon, praise God, preferred bypass and has done them for 25 years!
