Yes, it is a very SMALL great BIG world, isn't it! Congratulations on your upcoming sleeve procedure. The hardest part is the week before and the week after. I loved my sleeve and I hope you love yours as well.

It is very hot in Qatar at times, but right now it's high 90s, low 100s (F) so that is tolerable. The singing is the call to prayer which is six times a day right now. I live between two mosques so as the sun moves across the sky, I might hear the call to prayer 12 times a day, as it doesn't begin simultaneously at each mosque. LOL It's a real person singing, not a recording, and therefor sometimes it is louder than at others. It's true what they say though; after a while you just get used to it.

I miss Korea a lot, although the summer heat is awful there as well PLUS I endured the bitter winters and a lot of ice and snow. At least here it isn't ever that cold.
