What's on your Saturday menu, RNYers?
You made me laugh: "Lesson learned, I can't afford quality." I too had to find a rain jacket yesterday. I finally found one in H&M. Don't know if you have one there or not, but they had a good selection of colors and it did not break the bank. Also had a small umbrella to match at the register. These are hard to find items in a literal desert climate!!
I too crave the crunch from cereal or crackers now that I am a RNYer. And cheese is another drug of choice! Have you tried Moon Cheese? It combines the crunch and the cheese and it's unbelievable. It is just dehydrated cheese I guess, but it's so so good. And full of protein.
QOTD: All the festivals here now are Iftar celebrations at sundown since it is Ramadan. I went to an Iftar yesterday and the best thing I had was a very spicy Thai chicken soup with tons of red chili peppers and lemongrass. Avoided the desserts and rice dishes as much as I could, but still have a stomach ache this morning because I could not resist some rice and veggies that looked so good. Now it hurts so bad!
Keep holding out for quality, PeachPie. Respect and kindness are free and very high quality indeed. Hope you have a healthy and happy weekend and that your son's formal is a high point next week.
There is a big herding show on a nearby island. I caught the end last year. Those dogs are crazy smart.
I don't like being in big crowds. There are many opportunities in Seattle.
Part of being 50 is a colonoscopy. Glad that's over for her.
I ate egg drop soup and yogurt so far. I'm not very hungry today.
No sugar.
