What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
Good morning all! It's been chilly and rainy here for a while and looks like it's going to continue this week. I'm anxious to get the rest of my plants in, but I'm still on schedule if I don't.
Been feeling very fatigued lately and Ive decided to call and get my bloodwork checked. It was checked in Feb, but my iron is consistently low (but "normal") so I might need to raise a fuss about it. Ferritin was at 21 in Feb. I felt normal then, but lately I do not.
Qotd: I've always had small, no-fuss birthdays. My friends did throw me a surprise 16th birthday and my then-crush came with a gift--a drawing he'd done of a Pegasus. He was a very good artist and I still have the drawing, though I lost touch with the crush.
Menu: 1 cup of black coffee and a slim-fast caramel latte
lunch: salad bar. I haven't been very diligent about checking the menu, so if the protein option is decent I'll go for that.
dinner: on my own, so I may just have a salad and a tilapia fillet. I bought a bag of frozen ones that are quick to cook.

Good morning menu friends! A light sprinkle here in Illinois with heavy rain on the way later but Lily and I got our 3.3 miles in just in time. QOTD can't really think of anything as I don't really make a big deal of birthdays. Accountability was spot on yesterday both food and stepwise and weight today is 123.8. Heres the food for the day B1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L4 oz deli lemon pepper chicken and cheese D 4 oz crab salad 1/4 c green beans S if needed meat stick. I am feeling SO SORE today... I thought yesterday was bad but OMG guys My legs are just not working right LOL...and I did my first PIYO video last night despite the muscle pain and now my abs and arms hurt too LOL.
I just keep telling myself it would be worse if I didn't do it, and it won't ever be this bad again as long as I keep up with it! but seriously, I can't even walk normally, I feel like I look like I am disabled.
QOTD: my Sister and parents organized a surprise party for my 30th birthday and I was completely clueless. She even had friends I had not seen in years show up, along with my BFF who lives in Kansas that I only get to see once a year or so...at the time DH and I had just moved in to an apartment together that was about an hour and a half away from where I grew up and he told me he was taking me to some special park where they used to do reenactments. When we showed up at this park, I had to pee so bad all I could focus on was getting to the bathroom, I looked right past all my friends and family and didn't even notice they were sitting in this big gazebo like 40 feet away hahaha.
it was a wonderful surprise!

Good Morning! Thanks for starting us off this morning. I've got a jam packed morning since I'm leaving for an appt this afternoon (hopefully I'm given approval to add back in some workouts!). Happy Birthday to your son.
Accountability: Although there wasn't any bars there was lemon loaf that I made yesterday (low-carb almond flour recipe but I need to portion it out and freeze it).
QOTD: Aside from ones as an adult I can't remember really any special ones.

Good morning,
Thank you for the birthday wishes yesterday. The rooms in my section at daycare made me Birthday cards from the kids. It was a nice surprise. I had a good day even though I got upset stomach and diarrhea at work. I only ate one meal and my piece of birthday cake yesterday.
The ear specialist said I had a bad ear infection and it can take a few months to clear up. He said it looked good but if I'm still having problems by May 22 to come to that appointment or canceled if it's better.
I just got done eating my breakfast but now my stomach is hurting so I'm not sure what I'll eat today. Just might get some protein water to drink.
Qotd my 50th Birthday, My friend tried to throw me a surprise party but I figured it out before it. I did act surprised when I walked in. I wore this hat with a saying about being over the hill, which surprise me because I usually don't want to draw attention to myself when I was morbid obese.

Good morning~ I'm feeling better, but still have a helmet headache but its better than yesterday. I'm at work and have tackled my must do's so I'm taking a few minutes to get on here. I was late getting coming in there was a 5 car accident on the freeway. It happened right before I got there and the police showed up as I was stuck in traffic at the scene. Everyone survived thankfully, but it makes you realize how things can change in an instant and that life is just so short.
QOTD - My most memorable birthday was 40 - An all day-spa day with my sisters and friends at a hot springs resort - so fun. My 21st was great too, but I don't really remember it very well, haha. 50th at Disneyland wasn't' too shabby either!
Accountability - not good, I fed my migraine.
