Morning all, I haven't had enough coffee to make a dent in funk the I feel today so I will muddle through as best I can. Looking forward to being off at 2pm today and of course the weekend.
QOTD -I've had a lot of jobs, especially as a kid - I delivered newspapers, babysat, washed cars, walked dogs, raked leaves, shoveled snow, picked cucumbers, summer camp counselor. In high school I worked at a couple nursing homes (kitchen) and a pharmacy. As an adult, I was a Food Service Supervisor, waitress, Property Manager, Community Association Manager and for the last 11 years, I've worked at the Probation Department.
Accountability - good - no bars, no snacks. It's been 2 weeks since I've had yogurt and there is a big difference in my 'hunger' - physical, head, hormonal or desire to eat in general - whatever it is, it's different and I like it this way. I thought I would miss yogurt so much, but I don't.
b- coffee x 5, HB eggs - having a hard time wanting or eating breakfast, I try but I just don't want to eat this early lately
l-albacore tuna w/mayo and balsamic vinegar
d- baked chicken thighs
snack - beef jerky
v/l on track

I was having 2 a day so think the added carbs/sugars may have been triggering my hunger. When I used to do Adkins/keto it was really hard for me to get into ketosis, my carbs had to be super low, under 15. With the yogurt I was averaging close to 30. I'm a bit jealous of those who can have more carbs.
Also, it's a slider food.

I have lactose intolerance problems with milk yogurt and soy yogurt has TONS of carbs/added sugar. I eat Lactaid cottage cheese though. Half a cup has 15 g of protein and only a few carbs.
The hard part of this life is continuing to figure out what works for YOU and sticking with it. I'm cheering for you!

hello everyone, it's technically still morning, but it's definitely gone by super fast today! I am leaving work in about 2 hours today to go to a hair appointment YAY LOL.
I am still battling this cold but I am hopeful it will be better by next week so I can start filming my videos. I have a few ideas running around in my mind to start with, but I am nervous about figuring out how to do the editing...I hope I can find a simple app that's made for beginners LOL...if anyone has any experience in video editing please send me your suggestions.
I am pretty mad at my DH today, as when I went to pay bills this morning i noticed his account had a charge to the regal cinemas and he went to see Avengers End Game WITHOUT ME!!! he went after work one night so I was asleep and we don't have a reliable babysitter outside regular daycare hours right now, so we don't really have a chance to go together til my parents return from Az in a week...He said we were going to go together then he went without me. I know I shouldn't be so bothered by it but it kind of hurt my feelings that he couldn't wait for me, and now he is going to be super annoying if I go see it with him...he never stops talking during movies when he sees them before me. GRRRR
QOTD: my first real job was at a major insurance company call center during summers while I was in college. I student-taught art during school and realized I hated school politics enough to NOT pursue teaching but I did finish my degree. Then I was a dog trainer for about a year after college. then I got a job in the doctor's office my mom worked for (she was a nurse) as a receptionist, and since then I have had several administrative jobs in medical offices and have been at my current job for 10 years...It's evolved since I started in reception and now I am in the billing dept doing insurance/pre-cert/benefits. In reality though, I am a visual artist and have been doing freelance art on the side pretty much since I graduated from college...mainly portraits of people and pets.
Morning: coffee w/1/4 caramel PP and SF coffeemate hazelnut creamer
B: 1/4C cottage cheese w/2 HB eggs mashed up w/EBB seasoning
L: going to a hair appt at 1:00 so I brought a protein bar and a L&F greek yogurt
D: turkey italian sausage w/kale & sweet potatoes
ES: string cheese & cashews
