I don't I would do well with my low blood sugar issues. But it'll be interesting to read the other replies.

Good morning, everybody. I like the sound of that Friday eve! Today I am going to try and be super productive so that I can work from home tomorrow and get a little head start on the weekend. I have a number of errands that I need to run and would like to get a head start on them.

We heard that the Dallas airport parking lot is flooding, so we had a bit of a nervous moment about my daughter's car, but she assured us that she parked on the roof of the garage. Unfortunately, she won't be able to get up their to pick it up for another week, so the parking fees are racking up.

51 Burpees.

QOTD: She would be shocked that everybody's hair is so small

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: Ahi tuna salad

Snack: Light and fit

Dinner: Lamb

Much needed rest day for me tonight.

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning

QOTD: I am going to add to your technology - the explosion of social media. And second if she was a dieter, the change from low-fat, to all the fat.

  • Protein, pumpkin muffins
  • post-workout: turkey w/lite rye
  • turkey meatballs, zoodles, Banza pasta
  • beef with broccoli
  • S: veggies, protein

Ex: gym time. Last 2 workouts have been really strong. Makes me happy, I was in a dry spell for awhile.

I agree about the fat. I certainly remember 10-20g of fat were the best advice and now keto is everywhere!

Mornin'!

Well the plastic surgery nurse I talked to yesterday didn't think I had an infection (I texted her some pictures) - she thought it looked OK. She forwarded them on the surgeon, but I never got a call back - so maybe he agreed. At any rate, I'll quit worrying about it unless/until I get a call from them.

not much on the agenda today - just a trip over to this place where we'll be holding a luncheon next month to check it out. I also need to decide on a location for a (big) meeting I'm trying to schedule for a year from now (!). Tomorrow it's off to Chicago (again!) to meet up with some cousins for the weekend.

QOTD: definitely technology. My life has really changed since the advent of smartphones, tablets, and laptops!

accountability was better yesterday, weight down 1/2 lb this morning

3 years 10 months out:

B: homemade coconut Greek yogurt with 1/3 mango, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: 1/2 C whipped/sweetened cottage cheese over 1/3 C protein oatmeal, strawberries

AS: light yogurt or a couple of protein powder/peanut butter balls

D: out to dinner with the family - we're going to deli for reubens in memory of my dad (one of his favorite foods). I'll go with half a Rachel instead (turkey instead of corned beef - and cole slaw instead of sauerkraut (I can't do sauerkraut anymore, unfortunately - my pouch rebels!!))

UPDATE: the surgeon's nurse called me after I posted this. The surgeon didn't like all the redness - so I'm now on amoxicillin!
