What's on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning! I've been meaning to "drop" in but we have our last company of the year so it has been busy. DH has been a challenge and I have visited a couple of memory care facilities here with a couple of more planned before we leave Florida. Then I will the same in Massachusetts. Though he is not exactly ready yet my intuition tells me it will be needed within the next year.
Today I am going to Sarasota with some friends for the day and BIL and DH will hang out together. Freedom!
QOTD: Since I worked for over 30 years in commercial property insurance and have only been retired for about 18 months, I suppose that would be the easiest for me to speak on: coverage, risk, pricing, etc.
Accountability: Not great with too many sweets arriving in the house with BIL.
B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon
L: ?, but probably some sort of fish (out to lunch)
D: Salmon burger or leftover ham
S: sweetened cottage cheese with blueberries

I can't imagine how hard this is but I hope you find a place you are comfortable with and will give good care for DH.

Good morning and happy hump day~ Feeling pretty good today. I have a dentist appt this morning, a day of catch up at work then I'm meeting my sister and SIL for a 'drink' and tappas (none for me) after work to plan our camping trip. Looking so forward to this trip!
QOTD - I could bore you with all kinds of things for an hour. But, I could and would rather go on and on about the British Monarchy and the Royal family. Prince Louis turned 1 yesterday by the way, lol.
Accountability - great

Can I come to this lecture? Last year before the wedding, I was out with girlfriends who went off on the whole topic and I was the one saying "well, I've already set the DVR to record it and I can't wait@, lol

Good morning! I'm glad you were able to start your PT and hope you get relief soon. It's going to be a warm one here today-93 seems crazy to me in April but some years it happens.
So the doc sidelined me for at least a week while he puts me on a"massive" (his words) dose of steroids to reduce inflammation. I have to take 6 pills today. I go back next Tuesday to see if things are any better and create a plan from there. I can only walk at a leisurely pace until then.
Accountability: I had some peanuts and an extra cottage cheese last night but day 10 of no bars.
QOTD- I cant think of anything. I mean I can chat with a perfect stranger about anything but don't think I could lead a lecture for an hour without hours of prep- lol.

Ditto to what Liz said about your health. Take care of you and listen to the doc. Only leisurely walks, no running.
