Awe, I sure hope you are starting to feel better soon. This is what scares me about plastics, but I am considering it.

my lower body lift (from last summer) was more painful, but the swelling on this current one is bothering me more. Maybe because it's affected a lot more areas (arms, breasts, and from armpit to below the waist on both sides). I feel like my whole body is a bloated mess! I know in the end it'll all be worth it - and I'm already loving some of the results even though I know it'll look better and better as this swelling goes down - but this swelling is driving me insane!! (of course, I had swelling with phase 1, too - but it's bothering me more this time around - again, a lot more areas are affected)

I hope the swelling gets better and that you can get meds to clear up the infection.

I had hernia and skin removal back in February however I never felt any swelling. Is this something I should have experienced. I have had trouble with infection along my incision and where he tried to make a belly button. I'm almost 3 months from surgery and still trying to close wounds and I had 3 more small wounds open surgeon says I over do it and I need to slow down. He also said he thinks the new ones opening are a reaction to the dissolving stitches. I think 3 months is a long time to heal. I'll see the Surgeon Monday I guess I can just wait to see what he says.

most people seem to have trouble with swelling - but it's probably an individual thing. Liz said she didn't experience too much swelling with her upper body work, whereas I'm experiencing a lot of it....

Hi Beth and menu peeps,

Another glorious day here in the Mid-Atlantic. Last night it was 80 and I met my friend and we sat outside a small Mexican place and just talked for 3 hours straight. It was awesome. I did have some chips and guac, and the insides of one fish taco. Not too bad.

QOTD: Well right now I have been doing a lot of one hour presentations on employee experience management and why it's imperative for companies (listening to the voice of the employee from an annual survey or pulse surveys or surveys that are triggered 45 days after on boarding to let you know employee sentiment data and then using that data to improve the experience at the company) - thrilling, I know! For fun, I could either present on life after RNY or how to organize travel or how to pick a career path that interests you while also future-proofing yourself and mixing it with something that organizations value. I'm all over the place, clearly!

B: 4 oz ever roast, 1 oz cheddar

L: Tuna mixed with black olives, green olives, feta, artichokes, roasted red pepper, red onion, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, olive oil. One can of tuna with all the mix-ins provides me two full meals, sometimes with a little leftover.

D: Air fryer chicken wings! Plus fries for the dude. Because he can't have a meal without a side starch. And never gains a pound. Grrrrrrr....

E: Kickbox cardio today! I love this class - the instructor has an insane level of energy, and I found out she teaches Zumba the hour prior which just BLOWS my mind.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

I discuss this with our 17 year old and her friends A LOT. I may not be an expert, but I chose to study things that were interesting without mixing in the "things organizations value" so it's taken me a lot more time and effort to get where I am today because of that. I am the master of "do as I say, not as I did!" lol!
