What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning everyone~ I had a lovely weekend. I made time to do some little things I love just for me and they made me so happy. When did I stop, and why? I need more of that in my life which brings me to the gym. I used to love going. I looked forward to that 'me' time to expend emotional and physical energy. I would feel so good and relaxed after and slept like a baby. But I was also doing what I loved - swimming and pilates. Cardio is more convenient but brings me no joy when that is all I am doing but I don't mind it in the mix. I also don't need a scheduled class or the extra time to shower cuz I'm just in and out. I need to rethink all of this and MAKE TIME for myself to do what I love. Meeting Jess there today to sign him up on my plan and I'm hoping for inspiration.
QOTD - The last thing I ordered was a cat brush you tape to a low corner wall so they can rub against it. Bubs loves it and uses it all the time but a lifetime supply would just be crazy. Why couldn't my last order have been steak?
Accountability - today is a new day

c- coffee x 3, 2 HB eggs
l - ham and cheddar warmed
d- ham and eggs
snack - beef jerky
v/l - on track
e - I am 'going' to the gym today, lol but not working out
Have a great day

Sorry I wasn't here at all last week, I was busy or I slept in too late to get on here.
i have an appointment next Monday with the ent doctor, hopefully they will have some answers to my ear problem.

Good day Menu Friends,
We are just off of our 4 day weekend (Good Friday and Easter Monday are non work days here) and compliance was at an all time low for me:-( But we did check out some amazing scenery yesterday at Elephant Rocks and Dansey's Pass.
Just too many temptations and the evening snack attack was brutal. But today is another day and I am sure I can do a better job.
QOTD: I think the last mail order was either PJ's for my hubby or Flex Flavours from Devotion... Either way a lifetime supply might be excessive
Menu for today:
B: Protein Shake, and black coffee (decaf)
MT: Another coffee may go fancy and have one with some milk in it... homemade cappuccino
L: leftover grilled lamb, a few almonds, and a small piece of local cheddar style cheese
AT: The nuts and cheese from lunch may land here if not maybe some plain yogurt
D: cheeseburger, no bun, zucchini/yellow squash/tomato veggie mess
ES: Going to see if a decaf coffee (maybe cappuccino) will make me less snacky
Keep healthy everyone!!!
Have fun,
mathea

Hello my RnY friends! Happy Easter Monday! It's almost 8 PM here on the West coast, but I figured better late than never!
Yesterday was so beautiful! After 15 straight days of rain we had a gloriously sunny Easter Sunday. I drove down to my son's house in the afternoon. They had laid out a wonderful spread including smoked salmon, deviled eggs, ham, nitrite-free bacon, all sorts of fruits and veggies, great coffee, mimosas, and chocolate cream pie made with maple syrup and topped with sliced strawberries. Of course chocolate Easter eggs, etc. were everywhere, as well. I avoided the dessert, the fruit, the alcohol and the chocolate. I did well, other than that for the first time since surgery, I didn't wait a half hour after eating to drink, because we were off on an outing and I really wanted some coffee before we left (I was definitely less full a couple of hours later than I would have been had I not done that). We all walked to beautiful Green Lake park, just a block or so away, and divided into two teams to play bocce ball. It was hilariously good fun, even if my performance reinforced my reputation as having gifts very much other than athletic. But I tried, and we all had a great time. On the walk back I stepped into the street, unintentionally alarming my DIL's mother, who grabbed me and pulled me back to the curb, very forcefully. A car was coming (which I had seen and was nowhere near to), but she thought I hadn't seen it and was at risk of being hit. Anyway, she pulled me with such force that I really had to concentrate hard on not toppling over. I think that that was another example of how differently I move through the world at this weight, as opposed to how I maneuvered in my much heavier body. I think had she grabbed me as a pre-op her level of force would have been completely tolerable. As it was though I really almost fell over the curb! It's so interesting, the changes on so many levels, levels you don't even think exist until you experience them.
Today once again it poured! It's the PNW in spades!
QOTD: I just ordered a beautiful fitted blazer and a pretty dress from White House Black Market. I tried the blazer on in the store and the fit is exactly what I had been searching for. The fabrication is a bi-stretch concoction of cotton, poly and elastane. I would have preferred a little more of a natural linen-like texture, but this is still very nice, and it will be extremely easy to care for. I haven't tried on the dress, but the photo is lovely, so I have my fingers crossed. Yes, please: I would love a lifetime supply of beautiful clothes!
First: coffee, two big mugs
B: salmon
L: some beef
D: meatloaf and a little Swiss cheese
Wishing you all a wonderful evening.
Glad you are OK.
You and me together will be trouble shopping.
