Good morning, everybody. Back to work today after a four day mini-vacation. I think that I am a little slammed today, so its going to be right back into the thick of it. We had a great time in Utah and I will post pictures on Friday. I already fessed up about my non-accountability yesterday, so moving on. The weather in Chicagoland has finally warmed up and we sat out by our fire pit last night for the first time.

My daughter is going to be home for a bit longer than expected this summer, which is exciting news for us. Unfortunately for her, its partially because she has to get her wisdom teeth removed.

48 Burpees today, and 1,176 cumulatively. I passed the 1,000 Burpee mark while I was in Utah.

QOTD: Books from Ebay - I would take that happily! Hopefully the way the rules of this question work, I don't keep receiving the same books over and over.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: Catered work lunch (Chicken most likely)

Snack: Light and fit

Dinner: ham

Have a great day, all!

Mornin' All!

Had a great weekend, but I'm up 5 lbs this morning. UGH. Between being in Chicago a couple of days last week and then being away much of this weekend, too much fun and too much restaurant eating. Back to the routine today! Hopefully a lot of this is water and will fall off quickly.

QOTD: the last thing I ordered were three bags of Bariatric Advantage calcium chews (I take them when I'm away from home). Sure - a lifetime supply would be great!!!

3 years 10 months out:

B: homemade coconut Greek yogurt with 1/3 mango, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: 3 protein pancakes with 1/3 C plain yogurt and homemade blueberry compote

AS: light yogurt with 1 T tahini or a couple of protein powder/peanut butter balls

D: I'll be at a board meeting - host will have food there - I believe she said salads and hummus. I'll take a protein bar just in case...

have a great day, all!!

I love the Bariatric Advantage calcium chews they are like a candy treat. The chocolate taste like tootsie rolls. What is your favorite flavors?

G'morning menu peeps!

Boy I'm happy easter is over. Having so much chocolate and sweets around was not good for me. Now I just need to make sure DS doesn't leave his stuff he got for easter out in the open so I can see them.

Guys, I have NO CAR!! We had decided to sell my X5 thinking it would take 2-3 weeks. We put an ad in Craig's list on Thu, on Fri somebody called and scheduled to see it on Sat. Came down with his family, drove my car around and said we have a deal. We were so shocked that he didn't even try to hackle the price. We had put the price higher than the market thinking we had to barter, but nothing. Paid and drove away with my car. I'm still in mourning. Sat afternoon we went to Monterey to test drive the electric car we had planned to buy. It's really weird to drive a fully electric car, especially for me coming from diesel. But it's fun. Unfortunately they don't have a red (how dare they?) so we have to wait for them to swap their car with another dealership. Supposedly these cars are like hot potatoes and are selling really fast. I also found out CA (especially my area) is considered green and a testing area for all new electric cars. They see how they sell here then they expand. I'm driving with DH today to a rental to get a car for a week.

Yesterday we went on a beautiful hike. Will share pics on Fri. NSV : didn't freak out in the caves because there was a lot of room around me, I didn't fill out the narrow passages!

QOTD: I'd gladly take a life supply of JCrew clothes. I always wait for their items to go on sale before ordering. Really like their style, they don't try to imitate the teenage trends but still trendy and preppy.

This week I need to buckle down and detox from all the easter chocolate so my meals are:

  • Premier protein
  • Turkey slices and parm cheese
  • HB eggs

Have a great Monday, everyone.

I love JCrew clothing as well. I always buy up what I can when I'm at Fashion Cents. I love that people are purging their clothes because their clothes bring me great joy.
