Whats on your (Photo) Friday menu, RNYers?
Good Morning Janet and Menu Family!
Love your pictures, Janet. I love the "Run all the miles, pet all the dogs" T-shirt!
QOTD: I am very grateful for Saralisa, who was born when I was 37 and thought I was going to miss out on having kids. I am also grateful for our three dogs, pet pigeon and betta fish. And I'm very thankful for our house, which is exactly right for us and was the perfect price for us to afford it.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 104, Calories 1,100, Carbs - 93.
B: 3 strips bacon, peanut butter banana bread, light & fit Greek yogurt

Photo Friday: A picture of Sophie. She is a contortionist. She sleeps in the most unusual positions. In this picture she has her body twisted in a circle, her front leg over her back leg and her nose buried in her tail! How can she sleep like that???
Have a wonderful day everyone!
~ Karen
Sophie is SO cute, but don't tell Blossom or Tippy or they'll get jealous!

G'morning Friday pals!
Janet - best weekends are busy weekends. Wishing you tons of luck with the trainer and the CPR course. I can hear the excitement just reading your day to day progress towards your certification.
Easter can't come soon enough. Too many temptations around the house. How can I, a declared chocoholic, be trusted to be left alone at home with all these goodies? I tried buying the stuff I don't like but still...there is SO MUCH chocolate. It's like an alcoholic being stuck at a bar.
On Sunday we have a great hike planned and I'm looking forward to that as a cleansing therapy from all the sweets around the house.
QOTD: grateful for my family and their patience with me throughout this whole WLS process. DH is a saint to put up with me, because I know that the 20 years I was obese I was not the only one suffering. He didn't have the partner he thought he had married but never said a peep. But now when I participate in all kinds of activities and see him light up when we do it together I am grateful he was so patient with me.
Accountability: too much chocolate around the house. 'Nuff said.
My meals for the day:
- TONS of coffee and tea
- Real Good chicken enchilada
- Tuna & hb eggs
- Yogurt & parm cheese
The pic is the care package i prepared and sent to DD for Easter. I love shopping for and making care packages. It's my way to let DD know I'm always thinking of her even when she is on the other side of the country.
Happy Easter to those who celebrate, and if you don't, happy spring!

Jen, not my choice or strength. If it was just me that stuff would never cross the threshold. But, living with other people, especially when they don't have any weight issues, means all kinds of stuff gets bought around these kind of holidays.
And I haven't even filled the eggs for DS. He likes more gummy stuff, so most of his eggs for the egg hunt will be filled with gummies.
As I said, Sunday can't come soon enough.

Being solo does make that kind of challenge easier!! At least I can not bring things into the house...and once I am home, I know I won't leave just to get them.
