4 year anniv..
Been so busy today, forgot to post..
As an accountant, 4 years ago and 2 days was the last day of tax season. The next day was the dreaded "jello day" and then the 17th I had the surgery.
It has been an amazing experience for me and my wife. she actually had her surgery over 6 years ago, just on another day.
So, reflecting back over the last 4 years, I have accomplished so many things that I never could.
I have completed a marathon, 8 half marathons and am currently training for my first triathlon, my first ultra marathon and my 2nd marathon.
My wife and I are so much more active now. We have traveled more than we ever have and are simply enjoying life. I am blessed with this surgery. I have had Zero issues besides occasional stomach gas.
I am down #83 and still want to lose another 10 or so..I really want to be below 200...I always get close it seems but have been stuck at 203 forever it seems..leg injuries have not helped either.
Bottom line, I wouldnt change a thing.

What an encouraging story. We need to read stories like these. Congratulations to you and your wife. What a journey to experience together...through thick and thin(ner) and more importantly, fitter, which has brought you places together you never imagined. Thank you for sharing.
