Good morning~ I've had many days like that Jen, in fact just yesterday! Hang in there. So far, my morning is good - easy commute, coffee is especially tasty and my headache is gone but it's only 7am so we'll see!

QOTD - It depends on what kind of attitude. If I am stressed and need to calm, my go to is James Taylor -anything JT or 70's music in general - I love ALL of it. I don't have a particular song at the moment, but I know exactly what you mean and listening to it a 100 times.

Accountability - great w/no bars, I've cut out the extra carbs and slider foods - back to basics day 3

2 years 4 mo out

b- coffee x 5 w/HH, 2 HB eggs

l- albacore tuna w/mayo

d-baked boneless skinless chicken thighs

snack - beef jerky

v/l - on track

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning everyone. My stomach is in knots this morning. My daughter left about 5:30am to go take her NCLEX test in downtown Portland. She is nervous, but going to rock it! She is going to be an amazing nurse.

I am headed to get my hair cut and colored. I am having one of those hormonal days where I am contemplating just cutting it all off. We shall see.

QOTD- I love anything from the 80's. Bring on the Air Supply and Roxette!

I have been thinking about my food lately and switching it up. Something has got to change because my weight has been the same for the past year and I am still 25 lbs from goal. So, I am thinking 3 meals, no snacks and really upping my fluids. I remember when I wouldn't drink any coffee in the morning until I had at least 40 oz of water. I need to get back to that. I need to get really focused. I hope it's not too late.

Food for today-

40 ounces of water

2 black coffee

3 oz boars head peppered ham, 2 eggs and 1 oz light motz

salad bar from Chucks produce, egg, turkey, tomato and cuke. ( i am going to be that crazy lady with my SG poppyseed dressing in my purse)

Cilanto lime shrimp from costco. ( I have never tried these, but they look tasty)

Lots of water, hot tea and vitamins always.

Have a great day everyone and share your joy!!

You must be so proud of your daughter; I hope the testing goes well! I can also sing along loudly with Must have been Love...in fact, it's going through my head on a loop now, lol.

Good luck with the fluid intake, it's hard to change, for me it take my body a few days to adjust when I increase water.

My kids have a virus, (no vomiting thankfully but it is effecting them all differently so I am bracing myself and getting proactive about increasing MY fluids and protein just in case it hits me I will have had a head start on healing).

Accountability - doing lots of extra things for kids but plan to get on the treadmill if I am able to. Slamming the water, using a straw to get more in and it is working. Increase of my usual protein has been a challenge but shown me that I CAN get more in if I force myself even if it is uncomfortable and challenging I have to actively PLAN for it or it isn't happening.

QOTD: I can't think of a specific song but I found some of the songs mentioned here replaying in my mind. I listen to different things on youtube when I work out. I pay for YouTube red to skip the ads...It is worth it for me because I have teens and I pay for a family membership and it makes my walks go by faster and I try to learn something and that motivates me.

I hope everyone is out there rocking their Wednesdays. Stay safe, stay healthy, Friends

Oh, sending "hope you avoid the virus" thoughts; it's hard when the kids get it though...they transfer germs everywhere!
