That's a bit misleading. Here's an explanation between MD, OD and Chiro.

It is not misleading. Your link confirms what I said, that a DO is a doctor who undergoes the same training as an MD with a bit of extra stuff.

An OD is not a doctor... it is a made-up term for chiropractors that requires no standardized training.

Unless you are seeing an eye doctor, in which case an O.D. is a doctor of ophthalmology, which I doubt is what the poster meant....

My apologies!!

Funny you mention the optometrist because I need one, obviously! I read your original post as if it said the DO = chiropractor but that is not what you said. Sorry about that!

actually, an ophthalmologist is an MD. An optometrist is an O.D. Ophthalmologists deal with eye diseases and do eye surgery. For routine care, an optometrist is fine.

Wow, if I was going to ever think of not taking vitamins, your story does it for me. It's so hard to believe that so many treated you and actually did nothing. Bless your heart. I'm so glad things are getting so much better!

The day they started offering us access to our tests on line was a great day. Mine allows me to compare test results and it makes it so easy to see if there has been a dro*****t. Even if they are still in the "OK" range I know to jump on that change before I am in trouble. Use your online portal and it will help you track your health.

Congratulations on feeling better
