Newbie here... first time in forums. *waves* Hello!

Tonight I'm making teriyaki beef lettuce cups. Only I can't have lettuce yet. I'm just going to eat the beef part. Ground beef, green onion, water chestnuts, mushrooms, crushed pineapple, teriyaki marinade and seasonings.

I haven't had it since before my surgery. We shall see if I can tolerate it. I sure hope so. I'm looking forward to it.

No spring holiday celebrations for us. We are taking the weekend to drive down and visit my mom and brother in sunny Nevada. That should be nice!

Welcome! We are glad you're here. Unsolicited advice warning: if this is your first time trying ground beef... small bites chewed very well. Take a few bites at first and wait a few minutes to see how it goes.

I go to my son's church on the big holy days. Watching Notre dame burn is heartwrenching.

My MIL is cooking the meal and I'm supposed to bring something.

I had Better Post instant steel cut oatmeal. 120 calories and some staying power. Later boars head meat,coffee,and tofu leftovers.

Still no sugar.
