I have found it really interesting how different tummies tolerate various foods after bariatric surgery. It is an adjustment to accept for me at times but I have had to learn to respect my limits even if they bring out emotional responses (for me). I am learning how strongly food and emotions were connected in my life and struggle with obesity. Stomach surgery not head surgery for sure...I sure do miss some foods but I am learning to appreciate new things and so it is what it is, lol.

Good Morning Janet and Menu Family!

QOTD: I will go to church on Easter and maybe Saralisa will, too, I don't know. No other big plans. I used to enjoy hiding Easter eggs for her, but she's gotten too old for that now. Sometimes we color eggs and that is fun since both of us like to do artsy-crafty things. In the spring I buy flowers for my planters outside and I enjoy doing that.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 83, Calories - 1,283, Carbs - 143.

B: 2 eggs & 45 calorie toast, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: hamburger patty, light & fit Greek yogurt

D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, banana, light & fit Greek yogurt

Have a great day everyone!

Happy Monday! The weekend was good. I accomplished a lot!

I am so happy that I think I found a therapist! Her specialty is working with people that have had WLS or are going through the process and the life changes that it brings. She sounds perfect! She is an hour away, but I am okay with that! I can do my grocery shopping afterward. I see her this Saturday at 11.

QOTD- Church and then I am baking a ham.

I am going to get out and walk today, even if it's raining. It's amazing how much better I feel afterward.

Accountability- I had 2 bites of taco pizza

Food plan for today-

2 black coffee

2 eggs with 3 oz peppered ham

Grilled chicken with tomatoes, cukes and SG dressing

more ham with 1 oz vintage white cheddar( The Boars Head garlic peppered ham is so good!!)

Just 2 yogurt with frozen blueberries

NO SNACKING!

Lots of water/vitamins on track
