What to eat 4 years after gastric bypass
I figure I eat pretty normally. I'm 18 months out. My food portions are still pretty small, around 6 oz. for most meals. I try to fit my macros to 40% protein, 35% carbs and 25% fat. Some days, I'm good but I do tend to err in favor of more protein and less carbs and occasionally, more fat. Don't know if you have been on OH much or before, someone always post a "What's on Your (Day of the Week) Menu". You can find a lot of ideas and everyone does seem to eat differently and the same.

most of us still eat protein-forward, moderately low-carb diets (and some are still on super low-carb diets). As far as how much, that's an individual thing. I can eat up to 1700 calories a day and still maintain my weight, but some people can only do 1500 and some only 1000. You have to experiment with calories to find your sweet spot.
the best way to tell what people are eating is to follow the daily menu thread. People who participate on it post their menus every day. We have people on there who are newly post op and several years out, so you can see what people are eating at various stages.
