Whats on your Saturday menu RNYers?
I think most of us are a work in progress in one way or another most of the time!

Good morning everyone! Or shee****'s almost noon here. I lazed in bed, than ran out for some shopping. I'm hosting a Game of Thrones watch party tomorrow night and I bought Cornish hens (I'll be serving "roast crow!"), veggies to roast with it AND a box of the limited edition Game of Thrones Oreos. I might have one and I'll send the rest home with some guests whom I know love Oreos.
Qotd: The rest of my plans will be in the garden. It's cool today but the sun is out, so I'm going to run the tiller to mix in some soil amendments, get broccoli, lavender, and potatoes planted and get carrots sown. I'm going to put up my climbing trellises and direct sow some peas and green beans. Depending on the weather forecast for the next couple weeks I may go ahead and direct sow zucchini, cucumbers, and my luffa gourds as well. It sounds very ambitious though so we'll see how many things I tick off the list before I need to get ready for tonight--we're going to see a live movie riff from The Mads (from Mystery Science Theater 3000) who will be here in Omaha!
breakfast: I had a Greek L&F and coffee with almond milk
lunch: might just do a tunable packet. Busy and lists to get done!
dinner: will be at the Alamo Drafthouse. I frequently do a bunless burger, they're accommodating.

Hi All!
we left early this morning because we're on the board of an organization that had a brunch meeting this morning (with 120 people) - so we had to get things set up. Back home now. Long morning!
QOTD: nothing else planned for today. I'm in swell hell write now, so I wrapped myself back up in my binders and am sitting in bed. I don't really have to wear the binders anymore (as of yesterday), but they do help with the swelling and make me feel more comfortable when I'm feeling like the Michelin man!
Accountability was not great yesterday because of a dinner out - and probably will be somewhat iffy today due to the brunch - although if I can keep my calories really low the rest of the day, I'll be OK. I'm going to try!! I really didn't have anything "bad" - just too many calories.
3 years 10 months out:
B: protein shake
L: Eggs Benedict, mini muffin, coffee with half and half
AS: L&F yogurt, 2 small protein powder/peanut butter balls
D: something light in calories but filling. Maybe some peanut butter or tahini mixed into light yogurt? Or maybe some turkey meatballs?
Good morning everybody. I'm also not an early bird today. It wasn't so much that I slept in, as that I started doing other things and the time slipped away. Distracted bird maybe?
QOTD: Started with a trip to the gym. Then I had to go to the tailor to get suits finished. Apparently my right arm is a little shorter than my left arm because I have to only get one sleeve taken up and the other one doesn't need to be taken up at all. Later I am going to Starbucks and I have to hang a picture. (which will require a trip to the hardware store because the frame doesn't have a wire so I need a dry wall anchor) If you give a moose a muffin...
39 Burpees today, but I'm not done with them yet.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Bratwurst
Snack: Light and fit with granola
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day all.

Hello Weekenders!
It's Day 11 of rain, mist, and wind here in the PNW. I missed rain when I lived in Santa Barbara, but this is a bit much! Good for the complexion, though (it helps in general to look on the bright side of things).
I bought another pair of jeans from Amazon, and now I'm fully outfitted, jeans-wise. This pair fits over-the-top ahh-mazingly well. I am especially impressed (for once) with the rear view! Check them out, ladies! Inexpensive, too. Plus the top review is hilarious. Do read it if you need a laugh:

My weight this morning is a little up, and I blame it on my overconsumption of cheese yesterday. I plowed through one entire $6.99 wedge of Bellavitano and a quarter of yet another brick of Swiss before I shook some sense into myself! Ended up resorting to the shameful yet effective tactic of throwing the remainder away. Thankfully I'm still just 22 months out so should see a reversal quickly. I've told myself no nuts and no cheese for at least a week! Those can be killers! It so pays never to go to the grocery store before you've eaten - I need to remember that. If it isn't in the house, I won't be tempted. I will go shopping after lunch when I'm still digesting dense protein. I have been wanting to grill myself some tri-tip, or to make a good roast. I've been eating lots of roast turkey breast, chicken, and tuna, and feel the need for beef.
First: two huge mugs of coffee
B: tuna
L: turkey breast (non-deli) and a few grape tomatoes
D: beef! Maybe with some greens.
Have fun today, my RnY friends!
Slow day but my back is much, much better. So happy. Tried to do some lunges but those hurt so I backed off. Maybe tomorrow although Saturday and Sunday are rest days.
QOTD: My goal was to be as lazy as I could and I pretty much succeeded, LOL. I did have a senior's supper tonight at church and it was so nice. My "waitress" was a 4 yo helped by her mother. She was so, so precious. And she will grow up too fast.
Accountability: I think some new medicine is helping me to gain, I don't really think I'm eating enough to gain when I've been eating the same. The medicine does have a side effect listed as weight gain. It also makes me very, very sleepy and it really helped me be really lazy. I took a nap and I am not a napper. I think I'm just going to take this medicine at night. It is for my back and it may be what's helping with the pain. Just don't know. But at any rate, I guestimated calories for tonight's supper (which was very, very good). I did have a few bites of the mashed potatos and a few bites of creme brulee (It was really good).
