my current favorite is a thing of Light & Fit vanilla yogurt with 1/2 T of unsweetened cocoa powder mixed in, topped with a few fresh raspberries.

sometimes I'll take a container of Light & Fit yogurt (any flavor) and mix in 1 T of tahini. The tahini is pure fat and fills me up for at least a couple of hours. I use that trick when I sense a binge coming on...

Oh wow that sounds so delicious! I'll definitely have to try!

I'm using light & fit greek (frozen) for my sweet treats -- I also found one store that has a chocolate triple zero chobani and I do have a bag of Russell stover sugar free candies in the pantry.

I'm definitely gonna have to try the frozen yogurt! I have tons in the fridge. And I didn't even think of sugar free candy. I'm sitting here thinking I can never have chocolate again.

I eat yogurt or drink a protein shake. I learned the hard way my body doesn't handle sweets!

Yeah I'm too scared to try sweets ever again. Not only because I don't want to make myself sick, but I don't want to revert back to my old habits.

Disclaimer: I'm close to 2.5 years out and in maintenance.

The only thing that stops my craving is to eat whatever it is that I'm craving. If I want a Reese's egg, I eat it. But, because I do that when I genuinely want it, I don't need to eat a bunch of them or eat them daily. I only had time with over-consumption of sweets when I was trying to never eat them.

I ran a 4-mile race this morning and I'm currently boiling eggs that I'm going to mix with a packet of chicken salad because I'm really craving protein. I have a Reese's egg in the freezer and right now it doesn't even sound good.

When I was in WL phase I mixed Greek yogurt with SF pudding mix a lot and topped it with Redi-Wip. I also really liked (and still do) Power Crunch bars. They don't upset my stomach like other protein bars. I now eat apples and peanut butter but didn't do that before maintenance.

I would have been thinking about that candy the whole time it was in the house.

That's hard. I have a lot of "sweets" cuz I have a sweet tooth but it's all pretty much done with stevia. I like protein bars. The best I've found with the least noxious ingredients are Built Bars (have to order online), a few quest bars. Quest bars for the most part have a funny texture to me but I like the birthday bar, chocolate raspberry bar and the blueberry muffin bar. I make iced protein coffee with premier protein and my coffee always has sugar free creamer and stevia. So a lot of sweet for me. That being said, I see a Reese's PB cup, one of my favorite things pre-surgery also and there is a part of me that wants to say, (*&(*& I want one and I'm going to have one. Then I think about dumping and I pass right on by, cheerfully. I don't know if I dump anymore and I did have a few bites of creme brulee at a church function tonight but I really don't want to find out if I would still dump. I also find that if I think I really want something, I put it off, i.e. I'll have that after supper etc. and generally by that time, the desire for whatever I thought I was craving has passed.

i too crave sweets sometimes. i get a pint of ice-cream at aldi's that has 3 grams of sugar in it plus its low fat,has protein and fiber in it. just a TBS of it once in awhile helps. i will also take egg whites, beat them until they are stiff, add some stevia and put it in a pie pan that is sprayed with cooking spray. i bake this on 300 until its light brown and i let it cool. i usually fill it up with sugar free pudding that is made with skim milk and sometimes i might put a tad of lite topping on it. i also make a crustless pumpkin pie using canned pumpkin, eggs, fat free evaporated milk, stevia, and spices. this is really good. i have found that bbq anything has me spending most of the day in the bathroom.
