Good morning! That 2 lbs I "gained" from bad choices over the weekend is now gone so I was right in assuming it was water weight from the carbs. Yesterday my eating was perfectly to plan.

Its nice out so I've been going for long walks in the neighborhood, and this weekend I'll be buying a bicycle. I haven't been on a bike in over 20 years so I'm a bit nervous, but it will be just like...riding a bike. Right? Lol

qotd: seasonal allergies slightly, but I'm more allergic to mold, and with all the flooding, there's a LOT of mold around here

breakfast: slimfast caramel latte

lunch: salad bar, add diced chicken breast

afternoon snack: now that I work 11-7, I'm finding myself needing something to hold me over. Options in the break room cooler are cheese sticks, yogurt (not always Greek), cottage cheese, lunch meat, and veggie cups with ranch

dinner: tilapia and Brussels sprouts

Mornin' All!

Back at home now after a fun couple of days in Chicago. I got up in the middle of the night to take my binders off (abdominal and arm) because I was so swollen they were cutting into me and it *hurt*! Still swollen this morning - and my weight is up a couple of pounds (undoubtedly from all this swelling). Ugh. I'd forgotten how bad the "swell hell" is the first month or two after PS. Oh well, it'll be worth it in the end. I'm already liking the look, even though it'll look much better after I'm through the bad swelling period.

Not much on the agenda today other than to tie up some loose ends with a couple of organizations I belong to.

QOTD: no seasonal allergies. The only thing I know I'm allergic to is surgical tape! (or one of the adhesives they use with it...). DH has terrible seasonal allergies, though.

3 years 10 months out:

B: coffee with half & half, Greek yogurt with fruit

MS: protein shake

L: 2 oz rotisserie chicken and 2 T hummus on a Flat Out wrap

AS: light yogurt

D: turkey chili

ES: light yogurt

have a great day, all!

G'morning Daisy and menu family!

Daisy - sending you tons of positive thoughts for your dad's surgery.

QOTD: no allergies but DS suffers from them in addition to asthma, so pollin season is miserable around here. Puffs for chest, nose spray for stuffy nose and an occasional allergy medicine. Isn't it silly that I feel guilty when he suffers? As if I did something wrong while I was pregnant and now he suffers.

Accountability: after declaring myself the queen of accountability yesterday, I had chocolate chips last night. I have come to the conclusion I do so much better out of the house. My moments of weakness are always when I'm home alone.

My meals for the day:

  • TONS of coffee and tea
  • Crockpot shredded pork (I challenge you to eat more than 4 oz, talk about dense protein)
  • Turkey meatballs
  • Yogurt & parm cheese

Happy Tuesday, everybody.

Good morning,

Good vibes for your dad, Daisy.

Was up early to go to the laundromat. Now I just have to put it away but Misty wanted to play fetch. Guess she's done now.

Had a few extras in the eating department.

Qotd probably do since my doctor put me on Flonase to use. Have a runny nose a lot but nothing else.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D not sure since I have to get something out of the freezer.

Have a good day
