Morning! This morning is going to be a sprint. I need to be to work for 9am and before then I need to get in a 40-minute run, a shower, go buy candy and gift cards for our student meeting today, and drop that off at another building. Can I do it? We'll see! I missed my run yesterday due to work and then severe thunderstorms, so it's happening this morning!

QOTD: I do not suffer from seasonal allergies. The pollen is crazy in NC and it's literally all over everything all the time. Apparently, the pine pollen that clings to everything is not that bad on allergies since the particles are large. I do sometimes feel it when I wear my contacts.

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream
  • Cheddar & Spinach Low-Carb Waffle
  • Sweet Potato Hash Taco w/ Avocado Crema
  • Skinless, Boneless chicken thighs

Hi Everyone,

We finished up the flower beds last night before we had our first Spring thunderstorm - it wasn't a big storm but it was neat to watch it roll in and then roll out. Tonight we will probably get the pea rows ready and hopefully start planting this weekend.

QOTD: I have no allergies except to peanut butter.

TSS: 1 year and 3-months

B: homemade creation of a DD wake up wrap - egg, tortilla and a sprinkle of cheese

S: greek yogurt and raspberries

L: leftover fajitas without the fajita - a sprinkle of cheese and sour cream

S: banana

D: the remainder of the steak fajitas

100+ ounces of water and all vitamins.

Have a great day!

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

The first Easter post-WLS, I purposely visited the Easter candy isle making it into a sappy, religious event. There I stood thanking God and the whole world the once-favorite packages did not have the same vicious hold. Fast forward another five years, I am more thankful than ever walking by the Easter candy isle yesterday by accident has gone from sappy to non-issue.

QOTD: No allergies here but offer two tips friends say help some: 1) sleep with washed hair and a clean pillowcase each night 2) line the first inch of your nostrils with vaseline jelly to trap pollen

Good morning! I'm sure all will go well for your Dad but of course it is stressful.

Today we are just relaxing in the rain, but have a last dance in the Community Center tonight. Us snowbirds have already started going home in a steady stream. All will be gone by late May.

QOTD: I am lucky that I don't overtly suffer from allergies. My brother has always had a tough time but not me for some reason. I get slightly stuffed up at night when people with allergies are suffering but that's it.

Accountability: Excellent on day 8 of being on the meal plan wagon.

3 year post-op - post maintenance, trying to lose regain.

Always lots of coffee...

B: Eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: breakfast casserole
