Happy friday everyone!
I came in to work this morning with a bunch of stuff piled up since I left about 2 hours early yesterday to go to the doctor...i did, in fact have a UTI and It was not going away with fluids and cranberry juice. thankfully with just 2 doses of antibiotics in me so far, it's definitely feeling better.
QOTD: My family used to make a big deal out of birthdays, up until my siblings and I started having our own kids, my parents used to take us all out for dinner to celebrate each of our birthdays...now they still give us a card and usually $100...for my bday last year since it was a milestone (40) my mom and sister and SIL took me out to see Hamilton as a surprise...it was really awesome. We usually celebrate DH's Bday by going to the renaissance faire which is what he always wants to do, and he usually buys me something nice for my bday but nothing too extravagant. We are pretty big on spoiling all the kids though--themed birthday parties for ALL of them lol
Morning: coffee w/13 carmel PP as creamer
B: 1/2 C cottage cheese, small honeycrisp apple
L: tuna packet, 3pickles, cucumber slices, 8 baby carrots and 2 tbsp hummus
AS: L&F greek yogurt
D: Thai peanut pork stir fry with miracle noodles
Pic is Story last night, playing with my old legos--i've been saving these for YEARS, waiting for the day she would be old enough to play with them, and last night she said "mommy I wish I could play with legos" because the boys at her babysitters house don't like to share with a girl. I was like "well...Do I have a surprise for you!" She was so excited!
We built a little house and she was making furniture to put in it...it was super cute.
