Welcome back and I hope your DW mom stabilizes so you don't have to rush right back; that kind of stress is hard.

Good morning! As expected, the scale wasn't kind this morning after a weekend of eating out. Today is the first day on my official shift schedule after a 90 day training "ramp" so I officially work 10-7 now. Or 11-7 if I take lunch at my desk. That's the schedule I was hired for, so I knew it was coming but it's not the most desireable schedule. I've decided to start going to the gym in the mornings though, and I think it will work out nicely.
Qotd: I don't remember any that stand out, honestly. I'm anticipating a lot of fun from my coworkers today though, they're very mischevious.
breakfast: slimfast advanced nutrition--caramel latte
a couple cups of real coffee between that and lunch
lunch: I haven't seen this week's menu, but given the state of the scale, I might opt for salad anyway with chicken added
dinner: chicken burgers

Hopefully you'll find that you like the schedule, once you get used to it! Is it a permanent deal or is it last one in gets the late shift kind of thing?

I think it's either--I can keep it if I like it, or I can "bid" on a different shift down the line. Since I don't have kids, it's not a big deal what I work though, honestly. It's just the adjusting to it. And my husband works the same shift at the same employer, so carpooling is nice too :)

Good morning everyone. The weather was glorious this weekend. I did some yard work and it felt good. My son competed in a powerlifting meet and that was a lot of fun.
Accountability- I sucked! I did not make good food choices this weekend. I ate BBQ chips and I drank red wine. Too many snacks. I feel bloated this morning. Today will be better. It has to be. I cannot mess up this surgery. Plan for today is back to basics and lots of fluids.
When I was buying my Boars Head deli meat on Friday, I saw that they had a curry chicken breast. Just wondering if anyone has tried it?
QOTD- Not a huge prankster. My Grandma died on Aprils Fools Day so it is kind of a somber day for me. Not really a fan.
Food for today-
2 scrambled eggs with 1 slice crumbled bacon, jalapenos and sharp cheddar
1 can albacore tuna with onions, pickles and SG poppyseed dressing
grilled halibut with lemon and capers
Just 2 yogurt
No snacking!! Lots of water and vites always. Have a great day!

It's always sad and tough on the anniversaries of the days that our loved ones went into the Great Beyond. Sorry it's today, and hugs to you. ,
As far as the Boar's Head Madrasala (I think that's it) curried chicken goes, it's ok in small doses, but for my palate, a limited exposure is preferred If you really enjoy curries, though, you'll probably love it!

I bought some today and I love it!! I also got the pesto ham and a spicy ham.. so delicious! Boars Head is the best!!!
