Did you see the Badgers April Fools Day joke that the Jump Around would be banned because it was considered intimidating to opposing teams?

Hi Jen and everyone! Happy Monday indeed! I hate April Fools Day because I am super gullible and since I don't lie, I don't expect others to, so I always fall for everything. I don't normally do April Fools things either but two years ago, we had the kids and I gave them cups of fruit punch (which should have been the first sign it was a trick since I never give them sugary drinks) and when they tried to drink it they couldn't - it was actually red jello in clear glasses! They thought it was HILARIOUS. I miss having a kids brain :)
I was out of town all last week and my menu reflected that. Airport food, restaurant food, ordering in while sitting in a hotel room. Ugh just ugh. It feels awesome to be home and have control over my menu again. Although I am traveling this week and next week, but not for as long!
Time since surgery: 5 years, 3 months
B: 3 oz ever roast chicken, 2 oz cheddar cheese
L: Leftover grilled chicken tenders with melted cheese and salsa
S: mini peppers with greek yogurt mixed with ranch powder
D: OUT. I know, I was just on the road, but our anniversary is Wednesday and I will be traveling so we are celebrating tonight with a lovely dinner out. I am thinking crab cakes!
E: Before dinner, meeting my gal pals at the gym for some HiiT!
Have a fab day, everyone!

Now that is a fun silly joke! I'm too honest/gullible too, not a fan of April fools day.

Morning all! Back home after an emergency trip to be with DW's mom who was very ill. She is improved but certainly not out of the woods and we may have to turn around go back. Really stressful and not all great choices...now for a deep breath and back to regular life.
QOTD: I'm not big on April Fool's jokes. They can be fun and funny but so often people do things that I don't find really funny, so I'm generally a party pooper!
Accountability: decision to get back to protein-forward, cutting out the sugar, lots more water and less coffee.
Menu:
B1: coffee, ham
S: turkey breast
L: ?
S: cottage cheese, berries, slivered almonds
D: steamed shrimp, baby carrots
E: hour class at the gym with my trainer
