Anny,

I see the psiquiatry and psichologist every week.

I decid move on with bypass, don't revert the cirurgy.

Sorry for posts, the answers this group helpme so much.

I know, my mind is confused. I hope help other people with my conditions in the future. My formation like psichologist dont helpme, but in the future can help other people.

It sounds like you need to find a new therapist.

Personally, I believe you had issues before your surgery. Perhaps you believed losing the weight would solve all your problems and have since realized it does not. That is a hard lesson to learn.

The mental part is the hardest.

Vá a um médico funcional o mais rápido possível e faça com que eles testem níveis de vitaminas, níveis de tireóide, hemograma completo e muito mais! Se você vir um médico experiente, saberá como testar outros diagnósticos que afetam seu humor! Não espere!
There are three ways of dealing with difference: domination, compromise and integration. By domination only one side gets what it wants; by integration we find a way by which both sides may get what they wish.........

Sabrina,

What blood tests do you recommend? How is the list of exams in the United States?

thanks

Yes, this.

I hadn't even thought to tell you to go to a medical doctor that can test your blood for deficiencies and such. Absolutely those things can contribute to depression, and some can even cause it. Definitely listen to Sabrina.

When did you last have blood tests? I'm horrible about this and it just never even crossed my mind. Thank you Sabrina.

Anny,

Thanks.

I'm going to try and copy and paste Julie's (Sparklekitty) lab tracking worksheet. Let me know if it doesn't work and we'll try and catch up with her directly. This has been such a HUGE help to so many of us and hopefully you can use it as well.

Basically yes. This is a very comprehensive list. Not everyone tests every single one of these things regularly, but they should consider it at least once per year, with less thorough testing every few months.

I wish I'd started out this way and monitored accordingly but I didn't. And at a bit over 10 years out I am still trying to catch up.
