What's on your Friday menu,RNYers?
hey everyone!
QOTD: plans for weekend? mine include gym and gym and puppy training.
had another sleepless night last night, not sure why. Last nigth went to a bariatric cooking class at the center. it was a fancy chef cooking chicken, asparagus, sweet potato mash, peppers and a yogurt parfait for dinner. it was good. I was late leaving and didn't get home till 10- took my shower and laid down. that is probably why I couldn't sleep.
anywho. last full day in office today, monday will be a short one to host one call then turn in stuff and leave. im actually relieved.
Food for today

Good Morning Hillary and Menu Family!
QOTD: Tomorrow we are celebrating my brother's 60th birthday at the bowling alley. We are hoping to surprise him. He loves bowling and Dr. Pepper so I am making him a large Dr. Pepper cake that looks like a bowling alley with bottles of Dr. Pepper set up on one end for the bowling pins and a styrofoam bowling ball. I hope it turns out well. I also made him a large birthday banner and other family members are bringing balloons. We are all going to bowl for 2 hours and then have cake and open presents. It should be fun, I'm looking forward to it.

Good morning! Last nights play was Come From Away and it was WONDERFUL! We ate at the seafood place beforehand and I had mahi mahi tacos (I had a couple bites of shell and then ditched the rest of the tortillas)
I started saying "love you, bye!" To my coworkers when they leave the office and it's been making people smile and shout "love you too!" And I think it's brought a really positive vibe to the office, even though it started off as a silly inside joke (I accidentally said "bye, I love you" To one of the managers after he said "I'm heading out, bye!" And THE ENTIRE DEPARTMENT heard!)
qotd: were going to planet ComicCon in Kansas City!
Breakfast: work served breakfast quesadillas, I did indulge some since I wasn't able to get the tortilla away from the eggy, sausage bits)
lunch: it's braised pork ragout, zucchini pomodoro, acorn squash, and cheesy cauliflower today. I'll have pork and a bite of each side
dinner: we'll be in KC, so likely our favorite bbq place there, KC Joe's BBQ.
Photo of seedling updates. I've taken the brassicas (kale and Brussels sprouts) outside to begin hardening them off to go in the ground, since they are frost tolerant. I'm hoping I can get the ground tilled up in the next couple of weeks but we need to dry out!
