What's on your Thursday menu,RNYers?
Quick post for accountability today. No QOTD comes to mind so feel free to add one. Lily and I will head out in a bit for a short walk and will do one at lunch and do 3 miles after work too. Accountability good yesterday with a break snack instead of a bedtime one again. Weight today 124.6. Heres the food plan B 2/3 c earnest eats hot cereal L 2 T hummus with baby carrots D4 oz burger with cheese S apple slices with 1 T peanut butter at break. Have a great day full of good choices everyone!
Good Morning Karen & Menu Family!
Thank you for the QOTD, Trish! If I were house hunting today I would want a fenced-in back yard for the dogs, laundry on the main floor, 2 bedrooms for Saralisa and me, and those would be the main requirements. This house has all that plus many more features that I love. We were so lucky to find this house!
Accountability: Not very good. Saralisa went to Taco John's last night and I indulged. Therefore my calories are high. Protein - 89, Calories - 1,440, Carbs - 143.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana
L: 170 calorie microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: goulash, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
E: horseback riding! YAY!
Have a wonderful day everyone!
~ Karen
So glad that you get to go riding Karen.

Mornin' All!
well, we're leaving for Chicago later this morning (or maybe lunch time - we have a lot to do before we go!). Again this morning, I'm nervous and excited at the same time. Whenever I feel my anxiety start to rev up, I focus on the fact that our hotel is near a Pita Inn, a Chicago-area Middle Eastern fast food place, where we'll have dinner tonight and probably take-out once or twice over the weekend (hey - whatever thoughts get me through the stress!!). If you don't hear from me in a couple of days and start to wonder what's going on, Janet's got DH's phone/text number, so she can check in with him for ya..
not much else going on - I packed last night except for refrigerated items (like yogurt, turkey jerky, and cheese sticks), and I have a few things to tie up that I want to get done before we leave in case I'm unable to get to them next week. I know this recovery is supposed to be easier than LBL recovery, but not sure how much I'll be able to use my arms/hands the first few days, so....
Accountability was good yesterday, back down into the 140s this morning. YAY!
QOTD: three bedrooms just because three bedroom houses tend to sell more quickly than others (plus it's nice to have a guest room and a "whatever" room - office, crafts, etc). Two bathrooms for sure (more are OK - but two is critical!). A two-car attached garage. Good-sized kitchen (doesn't have to be huge - our current one is 12'x12' and is just fine! I just don't like cramped ones since I'm in there a lot and like cooking!!). Central air. I think that's it!!
3 years 9 months out:
B: protein pumpkin pancakes topped with plain Greek yogurt and homemade apple/cinnamon compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: sweetened whipped cottage cheese - maybe over 1/2 C protein oatmeal
AS: if needed, L&F yogurt
D: either chicken kabobs or chicken shawarma and hummus

You're doing an arm lift, right? I had that as an outpatient single-procedure and it was easy peasy. In fact, I think surgery was at 7 am and I believe I was home in time for dinner. The next day I lounged around and had friends over for lunch. The day after, I walked 2 miles to the movies, sat through a movie, walked home, took a nap, and went to a bonfire party that night! Whenever I was home, I was chilling on the couch with my ace bandaged wrapped arms up on pillows, elevated. Since I had no pain (it was simply skin removal, nothing like the muscle tightening of my abdomen), I ended up stretching my arms more than i should have, and I had small holes in the incisions in my armpits, which now are more scarred than they would be if I had not reached! So try to make yourself not reach out and stretch :) Good luck!
