Feeling anxious, please help.

Such good reminders; thank you for posting this! I sent you a friend request. You have a good mindset on this.
You've got great answers, so just one comment from me. Revisions don't always lose as much weight as fast as those with virgin surgeries do. You absolutely still can lose to goal but it might take you a bit longer. Try not to worry to much.
You're still just a couple of months out so you've got lots of losing ahead of you. Keep doing what you're doing and your body will catch up with you soon. Many if not most of us dealt with stalls and plateaus during the honeymoon phase but everything eventually evens out if you're eating according to the post-op plan of your surgeon.
Thank you Amy. The weight loss I am experiencing is definitely not the same as the first time. You are so right about that. I guess I had hoped it would be. I'm trying my best to be patient. I know I've lost a lot of inches just by the way my clothes hang on me. I think the fear is not being successful like the last time. But, the last time, I didn't meet goal because my Mom's health went downhill quickly. From the time she went into the hospital until the time she passed away was only 5 1/2 weeks. It was so devastating that I went into a depression for almost 3 years. But, I'm staying focused and the great advice I am getting from all you ladies is making a difference. And I thank you so much for it!!!! You're a blessing!
As someone who had similar devastation in 2017 I can tell you it does knock you off your perch!
Just finding a daily point of sanity you can hang on to, depend on, and pull from yourself can be hard. I hope you have found some ways to let go of all that sorrow. Or place it in a special box, and let it stay 'respected', but closed.
I am cheering for you to have the long term success you deserve. Years ago a friend was going thru a lot, I commiserated with her, and she said "Yeah this stuff would kill an ordinary woman! I guess I am an extraordinary woman!" YES! self empowerment is the best gift...so from the "left coast" of N. CA you have my support too.
PS is there one spot on your waist or hip/thigh you can really feel is smaller? feels thinner? Focus on that area, and give yourself credit for an achievement..pushing our stubborn body along, with all the complex survival, and delicate female systems that balk for weeks? Only patience will work! And good for you!
Stay the course. Fluctuations happen and stalls happen it doesn't mean you are failing. I had 2-3 week stalls multiple times the first year.
I always think higher protein is better for weight loss.... and I did have a protein drink every day.
Stick around and the daily menu thread is a great place to get support, stay accountable and meet people.
