Good morning~ Not feeling well this morning - stomach issues so I'm home today. It's raining so a cozy day at home isn't such a bad thing. Not having to commute in the dark/rain is a bonus.
QOTD - My favorite part is that I feel great and healthy. That is why I had the surgery because I always felt sick, tired, in pain, and uncomfortable in my body. Not anymore!
Accountability - awesome!

Good morning everyone. I'm currently sitting in my car in the parking lot of the hospital. My daughter is having her 2nd interview for a residency program. I'm having such mixed feelings. When I think about it, I can feel the tears and a lump in my throat. I have never been without her.
The drive up yesterday was nice, but long! 4 hours in the car after working all day. I messed up with food. I ate cauliflower rice with chicken at 10:30 am. I didn't pack any food for the trip. My blood sugar started to tank around 5 pm. What was I even thinking! I guess I haven't road tripped since surgery. Sometimes I forget I had surgery.
Food for today-
2 black coffee
Scrambled eggs, 2 piece bacon ( at hotel)
I have a LF Greek yogurt and jerky for the car ride home.
Shredded chicken with lettuce and salsa at home.
Lots of water while driving, and vitamins on track.

You are a good mom to take her up there and be so supportive! I'm sure it will be hard to let her go, but maybe there's a good spot to meet in the middle and 4 hours is close enough to get together when you can!
