What's on your Tuesday menu RNY'ers?
Ok kicking this off - didn't see a thread yet.i'm at work just got off a call.
Accountability, not to good for me- ate too many calories - there were low carb tortillas involved and m&m's and NO GYM workout. forgot my darn shoes but didn't today! I will likely go over today as work is taking me out for my goodbye lunch and I'm picking Indian. I won't eat rice as I don't really like it anymore but will have meat and 'gravy' and maybe a bite or two of naan and some paneer.
QOTD: If you had a week off and weren't traveling what would you do?

Good morning menu friends! Lily and I already have a short walk in and will do another at lunch and a long walk after work. Accountability stepwise good yesterday but I felt snacky all day and had a small snack of apple sllices at break so I skipped my bedtime snack to keep calories in line. Weight was 125 this morning as I'm swollen as its time for my RA shot. Heres the food B2/3 c earnest eats hot cereal with protein and probiotics L 4 oz leftover baked fish D 4 oz local made lamb brauts probably skip snack too unless I'm able to stay away from the food at breaktime. Have a good day full of smart and conscious choices everyone! Time to get hubby up for work now. Later!

I ate too much yesterday as well. Not as badly as I did over the weekend, but still, I overshot my calorie range by a couple hundred calories. Ugh. I'm normally not a stress eater, but I was pretty stressed over getting my taxes done and my upcoming surgery and all the crap I have to do before we head to Chicago on Thursday - and I think it may have contributed. But the taxes are mostly done now - other than a couple of loose ends I have to tie up - and I did manage to get a few things crossed off my to-do list. So today I will focus on de-stressing. I have my Mah Jong group today (I still haven't decided if I like this game or not), but I think I'll skip it - that's a couple hours that I could use for getting other stuff done. I'll be so happy when this week - and my surgery - is over.
Accountability - again, not good - and I'm up a pound this morning. I'm glad I'm up even if it's mostly water because it'll force me to stick to my plan today (and tomorrow...and Thursday...)
QOTD: since I'm retired, I have every week off - but if I didn't have all this stuff going on to keep me occupied (when did I ever have time to work??), I'd go out for coffee every morning armed with the newspaper and my laptop, I'd meet a friend for lunch every day, and I'd try to get through the stacks of books that are scattered around my room.

B: blueberry protein pancakes with 1/2 C of plain Greek yogurt and homemade blueberry sauce (no sugar added), coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: meeting a friend at a French cafe for lunch. Probably a savory crepe.
AS: probably nothing due to having lunch & dinner out
D: board meeting a Panera Bread. Turkey chili.

QOTD: Since I'm retired, every week is a week off. I rarely travel because I don't like to be away from the dogs. What I do with my time is play games on the computer, (Words with Friends & others), repair & sell figurines on eBay, read, hang out with Saralisa and my dogs, take care of my houseplants, etc.
Accountability: Not very good, I ate too many calories yesterday: Protein - 92, Calories - 1,435, Carbs - 150.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana
L: 170 calorie microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: Not sure yet.
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, 2 slices 45 calorie bread

Good morning everyone! It's going to be a busy day. I have work and then my daughter and I are road tripping 3 1/2 hours away. She has her 2nd interview tomorrow for a residency program at a hospital. I am excited for her, but I am really going to miss her if she moves. Change is in the air! I don't deal with change well. We are going to have a great time though. We are staying in a fun historic hotel and I am excited to walk around and explore a new town.
Accountability- Good!!

Cauli rice with chicken
just 2 yogurt
Not sure about dinner. Hoping to find something ethnic and delicious.

QOTD - I would wake up whenever I woke up, read while having coffee, do Pilates, go to the museums, it would be glorious!
accountability - I went off the rails yesterday - instead of my planned stuffed chicken breast, I had nuts, yogurt and box of cookies. It was ugly.

G'morning menu family!
It's a glorious day. Leaving tonight for DC to see my daughter. Missed her so much. Haven't seen her since Xmas, thank god for FaceTime. We are taking the red eye because I have an event this evening I can't miss. And as "we" there are three of us. We met in day care days of our daughters and it just so happens two of them ended at the same college. So we came up with this girls road trip for spring. It will be so much fun. We also got accepted to tour the WHite House. The last couple of times I went I didn't think of it in time to put in a request. We will be visiting a lot of musueums I have seen but would go again and again. I really wish I lived in DC, so many things to do.
QOTD: where I live there is beach and beach and beach. So if I didn't travel I'd go to the beach, again! But if I could do anything I wanted, without family being involved, I would love to have all the audibles I want (no monthly restrictions) and crochet/knit to my heart's content. Boy, I sound like an old lady!
