Good morning! It's supposed to be sunny and almost 70 - we'll see. Yesterday is was so windy and cold that I didn't get to paint, but that can wait until next weekend. Today I am doing a few things around the house then out to lunch with my boys and a movie with just the kiddo. I LOVE hanging out with him - he's awesome!
QOTD - Have you tried any new WLS friendly food products lately? I had Quest pizza the other day and it pretty good. The crust looked crispy, but was soft and tasted pretty good with no after taste. One serving is half a pizza which was more than plenty to satisfy at 330 calories (ouch) and 27 gm protein. It was a a very nice treat. Sometimes you just want pizza!
Accountability - switched up dinner and my stats improved. I don't understand the scale being- will bump up the water today - maybe that is it.
2 years 3 mo - 171.7
b- coffee x 3, eggbeaters and salsa
l-red robin - chicken breast w/a few bites of salad
d-BBQ chicken w/asparagus
es - thawed strawberry fage fro yo - not as smooth as fresh made but damn good
Have a wonderful day!

Good morning everyone! I've already cleaned house, started laundry and now about to run out and do some quick errands; I have friends coming over about noon and then a massage tonight.
QOTD - I think my big "good" find was trying the Cinnamon Raisin Carbmaster Cottage Cheese from Emmiepie's menu. It's so good and has become a staple very fast. i also tried one of the Robert Irvine Fit Crunch bars and they were very tasty (like candy bar territory) but only ok on the protein/carbs/sugar front. I was excited to find Caramel PP back in stock this weekend -- I love a splash in my coffee.
Menu today
All the coffee done and now onto water and tea
B - 4 oz ever roast chicken, 1 slice cheddar cheese
L - I have olives, nuts, cheese and meat snacks for the girls so will be having a bit of those
S - 3/4 PP
D - L&F greek between massage and bed
Have a great sunday!

Caramel was my favorite post op. I would stick it in the freezer for a bit, it's a texture thing for me and icy went down way easier. When I started my protein ice cream thing I looked for it and couldn't find it anywhere! Glad to hear its back, I will be on the look out!
ETA - I'll have to give that cottage cheese another try. I had it a while ago, it was ok but it just didn't melt my butter. Sometimes the second try is a charm!!!

Afternoon, All!
Well yesterday was a disaster food-wise. I logged 2500 kcal, and that was just what I could remember - I'm sure I probably forgot about at least a couple of things. Yikes. That is the highest I've ever been since pre-WLS. Well, that just means I'll shoot for about 200 kcal under my usual limit for the next few days (I can't drop to 800 kcal anymore - that just sets me up for a binge). Luckily, I have surgery Friday - I always lose weight after a major surgery because I don't eat much for a few days after, and then I get that nice metabolism boost for a month or two. But still, yesterday should not have happened. Ugh.
not much on the agenda today. I already fed a friend's cats (she's out of town) and went to the grocery store. I need to prep and freeze a couple of things for post-surgery since DH can barely boil water, and I need to finish up some things before heading off to surgery.

Hey everyone. My day is starting to wind down so I figured I'd check in. I started it with with my run, then decided to clean up the yard to get ahead of spring/summer maintenance. Ran to the mall and got myself a wallet and a new perfume then grocery shopped. Laundry is done. One kiddo is off this week, lucky. I'm debating if I'll attend a firefighter funeral on Tuesday, they are just so damn sad.
qotd: at this point I don't think I buy anything considered WLS specific. I do opt for higher protein/lower carbs picks, but there is very little that any person eating consciously wouldn't eat.
