Really busy day for me today, so I thought I'd get us started and just post my own drive-by! Brunch/speaker meeting for the organization I chair this morning (we'll be heading over there in a few to get set up), most of the afternoon I'll be at an orientation meeting/tea with the people I'll be going to India with (in October), and dinner/social event this evening that will probably go until 9:00 or 10:00. Not sure of the food today, other than at the brunch...but I'm on a roll here, so I'm going to try really hard to stay on plan!
3 years 9 months out:
B: protein shake, coffee with half & half
L/Brunch: turkey/bacon/pepper jack sandwich, fruit cup
AS: I'm guessing there will be snacks at the orientation meeting, so I may take another protein shake to have instead

Hey pouch peeps I've had a busy week- went to a conference which inspired me a bit work wise. We'll see how long that lasts. Had a great moment with my son's special ed team- one of which has followed him since 1st grade; we completed his IEP for high school transition. His progress had been an amazing result of everyone's investing themselves in him. Then icing on the cake this week was getting this from my surgeon's office (I'm the 5th story down):

Survived another busy week at the warehouse. One more week here then we drive to Hillsboro,Missouri to work at a church there for 3 weeks with 3 other couples. Lily and I already have our 3 mile walk in and will do 2 more short walks at some point. Accountability yesterday was good stepwise but for dinner we went to a local fish fry and I ate a bit too much and spent the rest of the night miserable. Maybe one of these days I'll learn! Today's a new day though and it's off to a good start. Here's the food for the day B2/3 c earnest eats hot cereal L 2 T hummus with baby carrots D 4 oz ribeye S serving pork rinds with 1 T blackbean salsa. Morning all! I'm still fighting this cold and feel awful. Mostly because it's a beautiful weekend and I can't go play outside or go tend to my seedlings at my friends house. Stuffed up, headache, sore throat, coughing, and I've gone through a whole box of Kleenex. Bleh.
Yesterday I didn't eat much, just coffee in the morning and a bowl of soup (protein added) at some point in the afternoon.
Today feels like it might be more of the same, but I'll try to have some yogurt and get more protein in.
