What's on your Wednesday menu RNY'ers?
Good morning, everybody. I'm inching towards vacation. Today really feels like the hump day of the week because tomorrow I will be out of the office at meetings and appointments and then it is Friday.
Since we will be away, I am trying to make it to Friday without another shopping trip, so Bai Waters, Sugar Free popsicles, and Light and Fit are being rationed.
QOTD: When I was going for my pre-surgery psychologist evaluation, I asked about this and the doctor said that for some reason weight loss and pregnancy make people feel they are entitled to ask levels of personal questions that they would never ask in other situations. It still shocks me any time somebody asks "how much have you lost?" Fortunately, I don't get it very much at work because most staff aren't that comfortable going into a Partner's office to ask them intrusive questions about their health choices. However, I am on a board for a charity and it seems like every meeting I am dealing with it, though.
15 Burpees.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Pork
Snack: Light and fit
Dinner: TBD. We have leftover chicken that I may have.
Have a great day, all.

Mornin'!
I've got my Russian History class this morning, then I'll be heading over to my mom's to work on my amended tax return (it involves some stock sales I totally forgot about - from the stocks I inherited from my father. The documents didn't come until the end of February, and they said there was a chance I could get some updates in March - weeks after I submitted my original return- GREAT!). I had to get TurboTax Premier to deal with this (I don't want to deal with the hours of frustration I'd have if I tried to do this manually), and I need a Windows or Mac computer with a CD/DVD drive, which of course I don't have - but Mom does! So...that's my day. Hopefully I can make it to yoga this evening as well.
For the first time since Thanksgiving, my weight is FINALLY below 150 again. It's kind of a head-scratcher because I've had c. 2000 kcal three times in the last seven days because of restaurant eating and various events with food, and I haven't done any exercise other than yoga because of my broken toe. Hopefully this isn't just a fluke. But it's an incentive to really watch my food intake for the next several days (I have plastic surgery next Friday, which should give me a slight metabolism boost for a couple of months - looking forward to that!!)
QOTD: yes - I've had people comment on my body. Positive comments - which still seems really weird to me. I also get attention from men sometimes. I used to HATE this when I was younger, and I certainly did not expect it after my WLS since I'm quickly approaching my 60s, but...it's there. Not often, but it's there. But it doesn't bother me like it did when I was in my teens and 20s. I'm more self-confident now, I suppose....
accountability wasn't great yesterday. Good choices, but close to 2000 kcal. I still feel like a stuffed pig this morning...
3 years 9 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with homemade blueberry sauce (no sugar added), coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: piece of spanakopita, maybe a cup of lentil soup
AS: I'll be at my mom's. I may take a protein bar or some light yogurt.
D: some chicken with walnut sauce wrapped up in a Flat Out wrap
ES: if needed, another light yogurt
ex: yoga?
Reminder that your cost basis in the stocks is generally fair market value as of the date of your father's death.

Thanks!! Actually, I think that might be on Charles Schwab's report, but I'll check. Although the TurboTax Premier can evidently download the info directly from CS, so I may not need to refer to the hard copies I received. Hopefully it'll do a lot of the calculations as well (fingers crossed - I gave up doing my mom's taxes when she started a brokerage account - I was pulling too much hair out over it!!)

Good morning everyone. I woke up and I feel puffy. I know its hormonal. Really going to push lots of fluids today.
Tonight is a big night! My daughter has finished nursing school and it's her pinning ceremony. I am beyond proud of her. She has maintained a 4.0 GPA all 4 years of college. I hope I don't cry tonight. I am sure I will. I always seem to cry. I even cried at Kindergarten graduation!
QOTD- I live in a small town and sometimes I hate it. I wish I could be invisible. I have been very private about my WLS journey, but I know that people know. I have a friend, who constantly messages me and asks me how I lost my weight and that she is on keto. I have started ignoring her. It still amazes the questions people ask. I do not want or enjoy unwanted attention, especially from men. It gives me a lot of anxiety.
Food plan for today-
protein pancakes with WF syrup
shredded chicken with lettuce and pico
cauli rice with blackened chicken and veggies
Just 2 yogurt with 2 frozen strawberries.
vites always and lots of water and tea
Maddy, we are kindred cry sisters. I am a crier too! My daughter even mentioned it in her 6th grade graduation speech. She said my mom cries at graduations whether I'm in it or not, so imagine what she is doing now that I'm actually graduating. So if you see a river next to your seat it's my mom's tears, just pass her your tissue.
Congrats to your daughter. Moment of pride.

Good morning,
i have a counseling appointment this morning. I'm happy it is spring today because I know warmer weather is coming. But will probably get one more snow storm before that.
Accountability had some raisins at work and my friend took me out for dinner last night, had garlic chicken at the Chinese place by my house. Also had applesauce at lunch.
Qotd I still get compliments once in a while especially if they knew I was heavy before. I just say thank you. I had one at church last Sunday even though I gained 35 pounds back, she said I still looked good.
B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese
L tuna and cottage cheese and applesauce
D corned beef, cabbage and carrots.
Have a good day
Good morning! Thanks for starting us this morning. I am glad you enjoyed some time on the porch- flowers sound beautiful. I?m going to try and start posting from my phone but I don?t like it (I need to give it a few good weeks to adjust I guess) but I wish we had an app!!
Accountability: Not too bad.
QOTD: The only comments I got that bothered me were about my loose clothing. I still don?t like my clothing tight or snug and sometimes people tell me my jeans are baggy.
