Good morning, everybody. I didn't get home from the game until after 11:00 last night and then it took me about 45 minutes to actually get into bed, so I am operating on less sleep than usual. Fortunately, I don't have too much going on today.

QOTD: I am trying to learn fly fishing. My goal is too be able to catch fish without a guide to tell me exactly what to do. I haven't accomplished that yet, but hopefully I will be able to improve my casting so that I have a better shot at it. Also, I have to refinish a couple of doors on our back porch and I'm looking forward to getting out and working on those.

Today is a super busy day - and I didn't get nearly enough sleep last night. Yikes. We'll see how it goes. I've been pretty stressed out the last week or two - I felt much better yesterday, but it's back again this morning. I think I just have too much I need to do. A lot of it got brushed aside when our Turkish friend was basically living here for four weeks and needed A LOT of support, and things kept piling up. Now I have surgery coming up (next week) and need to get some of this done beforehand. I'll just keep plugging through it - not much else I can do!
QOTD: at this point, just getting outside! I feel like I have been trapped in my house a lot since the last week in January given the temps and/or snow. I'm so glad spring is coming!!

good morning everyone!
I officially caught Story's cold so I am running on Mucinex today. I found some cough syrup that is safe for age 4 and up so I got it and gave it to her last night but she refused to swallow it, and ended up spitting it out all over herself and me. it was not pretty. luckily I had some Oxy clean readily available LOL...I just gave her some more motrin and she slept OK last night. I NyQuil'd myself and went to bed at 9pm.
QOTD: i cannot wait for sunshine and warm weather, going for walks to the beach, taking Story on bike rides, making all kinds of outdoor play dates...I just want to be OUTSIDE in the warm sunshine.

Accountability: I had a rough night last night with snacks and suffered an RH episode as a result. I will learn someday right?!?!
