Thanks for getting us started Karen! I'm later getting on because it will be a very busy day with lots of meetings, so I decided to go straight to the gym when I got to work. I got in a 3 mile run on the treadmill. It would be a nice day to run outside at lunch but I have a caregivers meeting then. Oh well, I'm just grateful that I had other options. Maybe a walk this evening with DW too.

In other GREAT news, my trainer and I have been approved to be exhibitors at the OH Conference in October for our cyber personal training. I can't wait! Also another Obesity conference in Tampa in August!

QOTD: I can't wait to get out in the woods and do some hiking. I really enjoy that time and quiet space.

Good morning!

Some of the highways that were previously closed due to flooding are drying out and opening back up, but the damage in some places is so significant that the roads are only passable on one lane and are being guided by a pilot car to escort you through.

qotd: gardening of course! And I'm excited to buy a bicycle so I can accompany DH on his bike rides.

Breakfast: Greek L&F, coffee

lunch: I forgot to check the menu--3 oz of whatever protein is being served

dinner: chicken breast on a salad. Again lol

Good morning. All you early birds saying you're late posting crack me up! I fancy myself an early riser, but you guys have me beat.

My board president and I are having lunch with a big donor at a fancy place (his treat), so my menu is very up in the air. I looked over the menu and while many things look delicious, it's heavy on seafood, which I don't eat. I'm leaning towards either a cheese plate or adding chicken to an entree salad - but fingers crossed for an awesome special being offered. Will definitely have to make adjustments to the rest of the day's plan after lunch.

QOTD: I am looking forward to using my backyard! We moved into our house last February and didn't have furniture for the screened in porch or back patio until into the summer, so I'm looking forward to reading and knitting out on the porch this year.

TSS: 1,826 days - that's 5 years and 1 day

B: egg cups and coffee

L: ???

D: crockpot lemon chicken

All snacks will have to be based on my lunch, but I have an apple and almonds packed in case I need them

It's hard for me to believe that yesterday marks 5 years since my surgery. So much has changed in those 5 years and I always wonder what came about because of the surgery and what would have been anyway. I took a huge career leap into a challenging new position, lost 100+ pounds, got married, lost loved ones, seen friends move away, visited fantastic places and people, lost pregnancies, regained and relost, bought an adorable new home, kept up with my rambunctious nieces and their buddies, and become physically stronger than I ever was. It sure has been quite a ride!

OMG Anny! Super happy surgiversary, a day late! You're a vet now ;) I am so fortunate that I have been around for your whole journey - I have loved seeing you take the world on...from losing the weight, to kicking ass in the gym, to becoming the Executive Director of a library, to teaching me about capsule wardrobes and bullet journals, to falling in love with and marrying Jamie, to buying your house...and everything you have to look forward to in the future! YAY! I think a whole lot of stuff became possible (for both of us) once we lost the weight. I am so so so proud of you!
