What's on your Monday menu, RNYers?
Mornin'!!
I'm feeling much better this morning. Not sure what that blue mood was all about - I'd been in it for several days. I don't normally get like that, so it was a bit puzzling. Oh well - it appears to be over now. Yay!!
The other co-president and I (of one of my social organizations) have to meet with the place we're having an upcoming membership meeting at at 11:00 this morning, which means I have to skip my Russian history class again. Boo! I really don't have anything else planned for today, so I'll do some reading for the class since I've been slacking off lately - too much going on. But I got caught up on several projects yesterday, so I should have plenty o' time.
Today would have been my father's birthday, so I'm meeting up with my mom and sister tonight for carrot cake, his favorite. I'll split a piece with my mom (they're having dinner, too, but I'm skipping that - too many calories).
not much else to report - other than it's sunny and we're starting a warming trend, which makes me happy!!

G'morning menu crew!
Beth - can't wait to see pics of Max. I love it when they sleep with their paws up. I have so many pics of Luna sleeping that way. I read somewhere it shows they are very comfortable and they feel safe.
Yesterday I went to see Hamilton. OMG! Whatever they say about the show is true. It's truly fantastic. I'm not a rap kind of person but there were parts of the show I caught myself moving my head with the beat, or just dancing in my seat. It was three hours of pure joy and tears. If you get a chance and it comes near you, go watch it.
After the show we went to a middle eastern restaurant in the city. It was 4:30 pm and we had skipped lunch. I ordered lamb kabob and a side of tabouli. I was so hungry that I ate fast, two pieces of meat in and I was stuck!! Nothing else was going down. Can I say when these incidents happen I'm actually happy? It means I haven't stretched my pouch and it works like a champ! I brought home 2/3 of my meal to the delight of DH& DS. There was enough pita bread to feed an army and I didn't realize they had even added a container of hummus to the pitas along with the kabob and tabouli. My left over late lunch became their dinner.

Just had them for lunch! So much better than the red meat ones. I didn't like the red ones at all but I will buy the green chicken again.
