What's on your Saturday menu, RNYers?
The dinner sounds SO good, especially the lentil soup! Wish I lived closer and could join you!

11 hours, Janet? Show off!, I was preening because I got 8 and a half. It was still below freezing when I went out this morning, but I can begin to feel the warmth of the sun as I go out and about. I really do think that I am done wearing the hat and boots for this winter.
Today is mostly a little bit of shopping to get ready for spring break. Nothing too major, but I had surgery at the end of last summer and don't have any shorts to wear. I am hoping that this is going to be one of those vacations where I pack to go home and realize I didn't wear half of the things that I packed because I stayed in my bathing suit and T-shirts all week.
Congratulations on your blossoming training career, your success is well earned.
11 Burpees. I was up until 11:30 last night and was tempted to stay up another half an hour so that I could get my Saturday Burpees in, but then I realized that was nutty.
QOTD: I am Irish descent on all four sides. We will be having corned beef and cabbage this weekend. Marilyn is mostly Holy Roman Empire with some Greek as well. We will be staying away from the drunken debacle in Chicago this weekend. The odd thing about dieing the Chicago river green is that its kind of green already.
Breakfast: Turkey Meatballs and cottage cheese
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: Chicken
Snack: Light and Fit
Dinner: Corned beef and cabbage.
Have a great day, all!

When do you leave for spring break?

Morning all! Concert last night was a blast, though I did get my foot stomped on in the pit and lost a contact lens, so the second half of Shinedown was a blur (literally).
we remain safe from any real flooding, but our yard is a swamp. My in-laws however are in some possible danger. They live in a smaller town called Fremont and currently there are no open roads in or out of that town, as they are all under water, and we just heard that another levee broke near them which elevated the possibility that they may ge****er in their basement at the very least, and DH's mom is a serious hoarder.
Qotd: I'm at least a quarter Irish, if not more. My great grandparents on my maternal side were irish immigrants. My great grandma is still alive and used to make corned beef roasts on St Patty's day for the whole family. She is in assisted living now though and the family dinners have tapered off as nobody now has the space to host everyone.
Breakfast: DH and I went out for brunch to recover from our "rock hangovers"--we don't drink, but we're getting a bit old to be standing in a mosh pit all night! Lol
lunch: I'll likely just have a yogurt at some point
dinner: no idea. I'm probably going to pull something from the freezer
