Good morning! Things are crazy for us here in the Omaha area as many nearby rivers are overflowing their banks. The many many inches of snow we had on the ground melted in a day, and we had two days of rain on top. Many highways are closed due to water over the roads. We are heading to Lincoln for a concert tonight (Shinedown and Papa Roach) and a bit worried about road closures getting there.
Qotd: before WLS, I'd get motivated to go to the gym in bursts. I'd go strong for a few weeks and then stop. I was innsports as a kid and I did softball in high school, but I was more or less inactive in the off season. I started waking almost immediately after surgery, and once I was cleared, started doing more cardio and weights, and as I lost I started enjoying outdoor physical activity a lot more. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week now and usually make sure to get at least an hour of cardio/elevated heart rate time, and do weights 2-3 times per week. Nice weather motivates me to get outside but I have struggled with motivation with all this snow and weather. I'm bored doing cardio at the gym and would much rather play outside.
breakfast: scrambled eggs with sriracha, 2 sausage links
coffee all morning
lunch: the lunch menu isn't posted, but I've been hitting up the salad bar lately instead anyway. I usually add 2-3 oz of diced chicken and hard boiled egg
Dinner: out tonight before the concert, will depends on what we find near the venue.

If there were only a 'love' button I would love this! I have been out in my flowerbeds this morning, my tulips are up about 2-3 inches and I am heading to my strawberry patch in a few minutes to see how the plants made out this winter. I really feel so much better just being outside. Hope your weather breaks so you too can get out there and get your hands in the dirt!

Our temps have been on the rise, but unfortunately, my garden is currently under at least an inch of standing water due to over-saturated land. So it will still be a while before I'm able to plant. Sigh. These seedlings are going under a grow light this weekend :)

We are! Omaha proper is elevated enough, but some of the roads getting out of here are washed out and my in-laws who live in a nearby small town are stranded...safe, but all roads leading in or out are under water. Ugh.
