Do you guys watch Point Break? I was madly in love with Keanu Reeves when I was young and stupid and I loved loved loved that movie back in the day. My brother and I would frequently rent it from Blockbuster! On VHS!
I wonder if that movie has a different name here? Did you used to watch it in Italy? I only ask because after I lived in Spain for 6 months and I was back in the States, a friend turned on a movie "Blast from the Past" (with Brendan Fraser). I had told her I hadn't seen it but once it started, I realized I DID see it, in Spain...where it was called "Buscando a Eva" or "Looking for Eve". Totally different name! LOL
I have seen all the surf movies since I've met DH, so here in the US with their original titles. I did watch break point and even break point 2. My family liked the first one but not the second one. I guess it wasn't a "pure" surfing movie. I have no idea.
Speaking of different titles I had always watched Star Treck (the original with Captain Kirk) in Italy and it was dubbed. DH is a fanatic and has all of the episodes so we were watching one his favorite episodes together, for me for the first time in English. I asked him why Kirk was so exaggerated in English. He looked at me horrified and said "what do you mean, that's how he talks"! Low and behold when they dubbed him in Italian they took that exaggerated tone away. For me Kirk was always calm and cool, while in US he is hysterical.

I cannot imagine James T Kirk without Shatner's over emoting, lol. I enjoy Chris Pine's version too bit Shatnee always equals Kirk to me!
