What is on your menu today (Monday) RNYers
Good Morning! I had to double take at the Monday...lol! Another busy day lies ahead, lots of evaluation writing needs to happen today.
Accountability: I have to drop from the burpee challenge, even modified they aren't helping my hamstring issues.
QOTD: I am lucky and have a great center. They offer lots of support group options and what I feel is a solid program from pre-op through the whole process.

I wrote my last evaluation for the quarter today, ow to deliver them all. We switched to quarterlies this year instead of annual and no scores, just feedback. It's interesting for sure!

Good morning. Made good progress on snacking - actually cleared out a bunch of stuff. I did have a little dark chocolate, but it was significantly less than normally eaten. Tonight I will impose a no eating after 7, so I can get away from what is okay and not. It's all not after 7. Fingers crossed.
QOTD - My program is very good, not perfect, but very good. There is no time limit, so you are expected to be seen annually by the bariatric coordinator. I had a question about skin surgery and they got right back to me. They are pretty good at connecting and answering questions. The coordinator is a patient herself besides being a Physician's Assistant (PA). The support groups are generally okay too - monthly meetings at two locations (so I guess technically twice a month, but I just go to the location near my home). I am supposed to see the NUT annually too, but they are pretty typical, so I've been avoiding her. She says things like you are eating too much, but you are losing too far below goal - HUH? Oh, eat more carbs - gee thanks.
PWO - 1/2 bar into cookies
B - 1.5 hard boiled eggs; small apple; tbs NUTTZO
L - 4 oz turkey; small salad
S - 5 berries and 2% Fage
D - small salad; chicken; small apple
HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

Good morning~ Ah...Tuesday. I can't wait until it's light in the morning again for my commute. I am very sensitive to glare and sometimes it triggers a migraine. Today may be one of those days, I can feel it lingering in there as we speak. Jess ended up spending most of the day in bed yesterday depressed, but came around when I got home. We walked the dogs, went to the grocery store, cooked dinner, talked and talked... Later, he went to Target and GNC on his own and bought things to make him feel more at home. Some comfort stuff, stocked up on all of his vitamins, supplements, protein and bought a new vita-mix blender. He seemed excited for today because he is joining the gym and has a date tonight. I hope the energy continues to grow if only in spurts. Love that kid.
QOTD - My center was awesome pre op and post op at first. They were really happy with me but the last time I went (at 2 years out) for a skin consult and lab results was a joke. The surgeon thought they were great, pleased with my loss, laughed at my request for a panni because I didn't have enough excess skin to qualify and seemed to write me off then and there. They didn't seem to take me or my health seriously. I won't go back unless I have an issue. My PCP is great though, he is way more proactive and was concerned about some of my result and is having me follow up with him.
Accountability - Sodium was through the roof. I switched out some foods and looking back now they were all super salty things.
