Better to take care of yourself than to continue and get really hurt!

You need to heal, that is the most important thing. And I know that if you wanted to show off you could have started at 100 and worked backwards.

I don't know what you will do when you get to day 100! I did a "7up" program that NYMom (Cynthia) created for me yesterday, and I swapped out the walkouts for burpees. We planned to do 7 rounds of the 7 exercises, at 7 reps each, but did 8 rounds. So that meant doing 7 burpees, 8 times, over the course of 35 minutes. 56 burpees is no joke!!! I literally would have to break that up throughout a whole day...I was bushed last night!

Pretty sure I will be crying by that point!

Theoretically, we will be getting incrementally stronger and more fit so that by Day 100 it won't be so bad. I guess we will see.
A couple of years ago I did 70 at about 315 pounds and it was torture.

G'morning Daisy & Menu family!
We had a glorious day yesterday, after so many rainy days weather was just perfect. In the 60s, daylight till 7:30. When I took Luna for her evening walk around 6:30 everybody was out. Almost looked like we are the forest animals who come out after the rain. So many dogs at the park and on the beach. This is when I'm happy for DST not in the mornings.
QOTD: is it bad that I love love love my center? My surgeon has horrible bedside manner but he is the best and with such a light touch. His right hand person who talks to the Insurance and schedules everything is so sweet and walks all the patients through all the hoops they need to jump. NUT; there are two, one at the center and one closer to my home. Love them both, very tough but fair. The local one is also the one who runs our monthly support group meetings. I go to these meetings like my life depends on it. I call them my AA meetings and if I'm in town I don't skip them. I am also very honored when they call me to talk to pre-op patients. OK enough gushing!
Accountabilty: argh! Two extra protein bars and I ate them because I wanted chocolate.
My meals for the day:
- TONS of coffee and tea
- Eggwich
- Turkey meatballs
- Chicken skewers
- tuna pack & hb eggs
- Yogurt & parm cheese
Have a great Tue, everyone.
