I'm sorry, Beth. That's awful. We just had someone put in her notice because her boss just inexplicably hated her. She's been pretty miserable and found a new job. Now, with our recent layoffs, her boss is up ****s creek and can't replace her. Seems like karma. It sounds like you are very passionate about your job and the kids surely sense that, and that matters a whole lot! Another day today for sure. Keep doing one of the most important jobs in the world and thank god he's leaving soon!

I almost threw in the towel and left sick on Monday but I got myself together and went on with the day. The kids totally make me forget what's going on with myself because they need my constant attention.

I was just so surprised at his approach. I can have that observation thrown out but I am thinking of appealing it especially since I went by the book.

They say the number one reasons people change jobs is because of their direct boss ? sounds like maybe he will change he jobs before you have to. Hang in there and try not to let his poor behavior push your buttons.
