What is on your menu today (Monday) RNYers

Hi Mike,
How are you? Welcome to the menu thread! Hope you will join us and get to know us all!
Posting your menu of what you are going to eat today or what you ate yesterday is totally up to you. I see both being done here on the menu thread.
I personally go into MFP (MyFitnessPal, a free calorie/exercise tracker) the night before and plan out what I am going to eat the next day. So my menu today I planned out last evening. I am routine driven and if I know what I have planned to eat the next day it makes it a lot easier for me to stay on track. I also pack my lunch & snacks for work so I am not tempted to eat at one of the local restaurants. It also gives me a snap shot of how much calories, protein, carbs & fat I will be eating because I like to keep my macros in a certain range. If I go off plan during the day I adjust it in MFP. You will see some of us do "Accountability" on our menu posts. We started doing this to be accountable to ourselves and each other that yes I may have planned to eat x, y, z, but I ended up going out for dinner and had a, b, c. Its totally voluntary to include that.
Have a great day!

They are calling it a cyclone bomb or some such! It's basicalu when the pressure drops X in 24 hours but it sounds very dramatic.
I figure since I've laid on supplies and charged everything, it will end up being much ado about nothing! They did cancel most of the schools for tomorrow already though.

Hi Jen, in your accountability I think its awesome that even if you didn't make your burger you had your chicken & cheese instead. That to me is a win. I know for me pre surgery I would have ordered in a pizza or got drive through. I love that this surgery makes me really question what I am putting in my mouth whereas pre surgery it was all mindless eating.
I applaud you and Jim & the others for your burpees, I hate burpess!
I had to google what Elli Quark is! Never heard of it, I don't think they are here in Canada, at least never seen them in Ontario. But they look delicious, I wish they were here!! Yummo!

I would have made a frozen pizza before because it was easier that cooking! Chicken and cheese a better choice!
I've seen quark in sprouts, maybe if you have a natural grocer or something like that? I do think their simple ones are a good trade for greek yogurt occasionally..nice texture change.

hi all
QOTD: my center is pretty ok- since we moved last year though it is over an hour away so i don't go often. I do go once a month for the nut appt as it is free since I see the surgeon. they did have a christmas program. I've been the past 2 months and find it useful.
So, my job is ending on april 1, it is getting nearer and I bounce from feeling grateful that I'm getting out of this toxic environment and feeling sad about it. then I panic about what that means to me as my career has kind of been my 'life' for the past 18.5 years.
I didn't leave yesterday after work for the gym as i didn't sleep the night before and really just needed to sleep. plus stomach was all upset so it was all icky.
Food for today:
coffee
water
coffee
kays protein chips
lunch is jason's deli. going to get some type of sandwich no bread and salad bar combo I think. will have leftovers for sure.
Feel free to post whichever works best for you. I post what I intend to eat as it makes me plan and have things ready to go to eat.. Then my accountability comment shares whether I eat what I had planned or not. Do what works best for you though, and welcome. It's great to have new faces, especially long term people. I had my surgery 61/2 years ago and am fighting now to get off the last 4 pounds of my first regain. I wi**** was as easy as it was right after surgery.
