What's on your Monday menu, RNYers?
on 3/11/19 8:11 am
Good morning everyone and happy monday!! I have had a full pot of coffee and everyone in my office should be very exited that I'm working from home and the only person I can annoy is myself. I have been told that I am very annoying when over caffeinated!
QOTD - yes, we do DST here...and since I've been in AZ for 6 years this was the first time I had to remember to switch the clocks...I was up at 1:45 Sunday morning and changed all the clocks in the wrong direction so that was exciting. Thank goodness for the phone automatically updating correctly!
I have no travel this week so I'm focused on getting in some good workouts (and I fell off the burpee train over the weekend so I'm going to have to do some catch up burpee-ing, lol).
Menu today -- pot of coffee with half and half (although I had more coffee, I only had my usual amount of half and half), water and tea
B - carbmaster cin-raisin cottage cheese
L - 4 oz ever roast, 1 oz smoked gruyere
D - 4 oz hamburger patty, 1 slice cheese, 1 pickle spear
S - L&F greek
871 calories, 102 protein, 22 carbs
Today I am also focusing on ONLY eating what's in my plan for the day
Have a magnificent monday all!

I need to set a goal of only eating what's on my plan. I had a sh*t day at school and went off the rail tonight for dinner. I'm done for the night and now just drinking water until I go to bed.
You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

It's so hard!! Hope your evening gets better! Sticking to water for the rest of the night is a good thing; I remember reading the vet questions last week and one response that stuck with me was about if you have a bad day, do something positive before going to bed that night to get back on track and you are doing that by sticking to the water.

Good morning everyone~ I feel so off and have been since last week. My son is home and I am so happy he is, but I am worried about him. Even injured he wanted to be a tough guy and do everything for himself. He has been very talkative and open about what he is going through so that is good. I know it will take time for him to adjust but right now he seems fragile yet incredibly strong and independent. I want so badly to just make everything better but I need to give him space. I wish I were home now. I'm so unbelievably proud of him. He did see some friends, but hasn't told his dad and that side of his family that he is even home yet. He didn't want to be bombarded with expectations. Yesterday we bought a new truck for Rob and gave the Honda to Jess so he has freedom to do what he needs to do. It will take time.
QOTD - I am a morning person and I hate commuting in the dark, especially w/fog or rain so I'd be happy not to participate in daylight savings! That said, I do enjoy the long summer days and feeling like there is so much time to get things done and enjoy!
Accountability - I was half good/half bad all weekend, very distracted and busy. Happy to be back at my routine.
2 years, 3 mo 174.9 - this needs to stop.

l- deli ham and cheddar, warmed

To you and Jess. Sons have a very special place in mama's heart. You need to be strong for him so he can be vulnerable.

Yes, I totally agree Sheila. He is slowly letting down his guard again and he know I am his safe place - always.
I've been meaning to ask how your son is doing? I Know you were worried about him

Thanks for asking Amy. We have good days and bad days. When I see him moody and withdrawn it worries me and when I see him smiling and cracking a joke my heart bursts with joy. And I thought going through those weird years with DD was hard and us clashing as two women. Jeez, now it's worse because he doesn't talk.
