What's on your Monday menu, RNYers?
We haven't had a high temperature over 60 since October 31st. 132 days and counting.

Mornin' All!
I've got my Russian history class later this morning, then I'm meeting my new Turkish guy friend (not my adoptee) for sushi. After that...??? I've got surgery coming up in a couple of weeks, so I need to get a bunch of stuff done before that that I've been sitting on for awhile, so today is as good a day as any to knock some of that stuff out!
we had a pretty low-key weekend - went to a movie with the two Turkish guys on Friday night, Saturday morning I picked up our adoptee and we went out for coffee and shoe-shopping (for him, not me). That night we took both of the guys to a blues jam, which was really fun. Yesterday DH and I got our hair cut, I went to yoga, and then I picked up our adoptee because he wanted to come over for a couple of hours. Other than that, not much.
accountability has been good for awhile. Yesterday I dipped down below 150 again for the first time since Christmas (YAY!), but I was back up to 150.2 this morning. Boo. Hopefully I can get it back down before surgery (why I care so much about this arbitrary number, I'm not sure - but there's something about being below 150 that's very appealing....)
QOTD: I don't like the time changes, esp the spring one, and at minimum I wish we'd go back to the old dates (April and October), because it's just too early to change. It's dark in the morning now. I HATE it being so dark in the mornings. When we used to change in April, it got light early enough that the sun was up when I woke up (c. 6:00 am). Now? Ugh. Oh well - just a few weeks of this. I DO like it being lighter later in the evening, though...

Good Morning Bethmal and Menu Family!
I woke up really dizzy yesterday and when I stood up I fell and hit my head (hard) on some furniture. I think the crystals in my ears are off again. (I know, that sounds really weird). I did the physical therapy exercises twice yesterday and I think the dizziness is a little better today, but my head still hurts from smashing it against the cabinet.
QOTD: Yes, Nebraska does Daylight Savings Time. The time change doesn't really bother me very much. I love it being lighter later in the evening and I wish they would just leave it that way all year around.
Accountability: Still eating too much and gaining weight. I see my psychiatric nurse practitioner tomorrow and I'm going to see if she can adjust my meds to help with the ones that cause increased appetite.
B: 3 strips bacon, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana
L: 170 calorie meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: microwave meal, light & fit Greek yogurt
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
Have a great day everyone!
~ Karen
Oh no! I hope you're okay! Also really hoping that the NP can adjust your meds to give you more support!
Also, have you been riding lately? Not sure that riding with dizziness is good but wondering if that would help your mood.
