What's on your Monday menu, RNYers?

Yawn... daylight savings time is killing me this morning. Hope everyone had a great weekend! We were plenty busy. Saturday we spent the day in Pennsylvania. DH wanted to go to the smoker store and on the way home, we went to Fashion Cents, my favorite thrift store. Sunday was catch up on everything and dinner with the MIL. She sent home leftovers and I am trying to repurpose them for dinner tonight.

QOTD: Does your state participate in daylight savings time? How does it affect you? I wish we would just do away with the time change. I like it lighter in the evenings because I can come home and feel productive in my yard. I don't like the way it makes me feel for the first week or so though. I know the kids will be tired today at school.

TSS: 1 year and 2 months/weight 165 pounds

All vitamins and back to 120 ounces of water or hot decaf tea today. My body can really feel it when I don't get at least 100 ounces in!

Have a mindful Monday!

Good morning menu friends! Quick post before I start getting hubby up for work today. QOTD yes we do daylight savings time in Illinois. Once my body gets used to it I like the light longer in the evenings for walks but the first week sucks. Accountability yesterday was fair but I was low on steps due to jobs I had to do to get the dorm ready for the team this week and I didn't hit my 100 ounces of fluids. Food was good though and weight is 125 today. Lily and I will do a short walk at lunch and our 3 miles before supper. Heres the food B 2/3 c mighty maple earnest eats hot cereal L one foo patty(leftovers) D 4 oz pork chop grilled few bites cauliflower S meat stick or serving pork rinds. Have a great day full of smart and conscious choices everyone!

I didn't hit 100 ounces all weekend either and my body was not happy about it at all. I did much better today and I hope you did too!

Morning all & thanks for getting us started, Beth! And Beth, where is that thrift shop? Next time we go to my Mom's, I'd love to stop in. I am SUCH a huge thrifter!

I had a rather rough weekend. I think my body was fighting off a cold or some bug. I felt really tired and weak. Lots of drippy nose and irpy tummy. On Saturday after errands, I just put on my pjs and crawled into bed. I feel mostly better today but I'm glad that I'm teleworking and don't have to push into the office. I did do some baking in the morning yesterday, chocolate chip cookies and iced sugar cookies for St. P's Day. I had one sugar cookie (with green icing & white sprinkles!) and savored every bite! I'm saving some CC for DW but otherwise they are all going to the office tomorrow! Out of my sight!

We also watched some movies from Netflix. LOVED Saving Mrs. Banks with Emma Thompson playing P.L. Travers who wrote Mary Poppins and Tom Hanks as Walt Disney. Absolutely wonderful! Also watched some episodes of Rebellion, the story of the Irish rebellion. Intense but very good.

QOTD: I really don't like the time change, especially now that it's longer!

Menu:

B: ham, 1 pkt plain oatmeal w/ 10 raspberries, 10 blackberries, 1T slivered almonds

S: protein shake

L: Beef w/ broccoli

S: 1/2 cup Lactaid cottage cheese, 1/2 c strawberries

D: TJ's salmon patty

E: not sure

I'm glad you are starting to feel better. I had a rough week at the end of the week last week but so far I feel better.

The place is called Fashion Cents it's on 896 in Strasburg. https://fashioncentsconsignment.com/ I'm addicted. Thinking of taking some things there to consign this summer when I have more time.

Good morning, all. We survived our 5 days without supervision and Marilyn is back home. I woke up early today for my 6 Burpees and some cycling. I'm not sure whether it was the DST or just the commotion of a Monday morning, but it felt good to be up and about.

Two more weeks until Spring Break! I can't wait to feel the sunshine and swim outside. It is a relief now that we have our rental squared away. And if Liz hasn't been posting because she is afraid that I would camp in her yard like cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation - it is safe to come back on the boards!

QOTD: I like having the daylight when I get out of work at night.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Protein bar

Lunch: Chicken

Snack: Jerky

Dinner: Italian sausage at hockey game

Have a great day, all!

I was wondering about Liz's absence too and now I see she was hiding from you!

I hope her husband is OK.
