What is on your menu today (Photo Friday) RNYers?
Good morning, World! It's Fri-YAY! I am READY for the weekend. Tomorrow is blissfully free and Sunday I'm going to tea - yippee! My mom, sister, aunt, and I are going back to the place we took my MIL to for her birthday a few weeks ago. I think they were jealous of how lovely high tea looked. Since I'll also be getting the next embryo update on Sunday, I'm looking forward to having the ladies' tea that afternoon to either happy celebrate or wallow.
My photo today is the funny shirt I got to wear for my egg retrieval. How do I like my eggs? Fertilized!

Not only is that shirt awesome, its very pretty! You are rockin it!
The high tea sounds lovely! And no negativity Anny! You WILL be celebrating the news on Sunday, talk nice to your uterus!
OMG I started to drool at "banana bread." That is such a weakness of mine! I literally have about a dozen very ripe bananas in my freezer that I plan to make banana bread with but I keep putting it off because I have no control around it. I could make BB a meal, extra butter and go to town.
Have a great weekend
Seriously, the banana bread was awesome - but turned out to be a horrible choice for since I didn't stop at the one planned sliced. I definitely another 1.5 pieces...

Good morning, everybody!
*****members the part of childhood where your parents got up early and drove to Starbucks in winter weather to get you your morning beverage in order to entice you to get out of bed and go to school? Yeh, me neither. Yet there I am for the last three days in the Starbucks line at 6:15 AM.
My sons were actually both awake when I knocked on their doors at 6:00. That could be good news, but it could also mean that they stayed up all night on their computers while I slept. In any case, they are off to school and have made it through the three mornings. Marilyn has sent some pictures back from Arizona and it looks beautiful.
I took Daisy's advice and complimented the woman who did my blood draw yesterday on her technique.
When I was watching TV Wednesday night, they were advertising this new show - The Toe Bro. Apparently it is about a foot doctor who specializes in impacted ingrown toenails. I had to hold my hands in front of my face so that I couldn't see the screen. Are there really people out there who are going to be saying "sorry, cant go out tonight I'm watching Toe Bro.?"
Three burpees.
QOTD: Its hard to compartmentalize what is being lighter vs loss of strength after surgery vs. not being able to exercise during the gout months. But I definitely have a harder time getting through revolving doors.
Breakfast: Omlette
Snack: Protein bar
Lunch: fish
Snack:Light and fit
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all.

You are a good dad...that's definitely not how mornings when in my house back in the day! I was responsible for making my dad's coffee (old fashion on the stove percolator) and my mom's tea before they woke up. Let me tell you, when my dad bought a programmable automatic coffee pot after I left home, I WAS SO MAD, lol.
I just did my 3 burpees!

You are a much nicer parent than I would be! I don't have kids but I am pretty confident that I would be a hard ass. And for the record there was no starbucks when I grew up lol lol
Thank you for taking my advice and giving a random compliment, I bet you that made the lab tech's day! I love giving random compliments, it makes my heart smile when I see the smile on people's faces.
OMG that show! The Toe Bro. GROSS. GROSS. GROSS. The commercials drive me mental. I turn the TV to mute and turn my head when it comes on. Same as "Dr Pimple Popper." I am SO GROSSED out by the mere name of that show. Couldn't pay me enough to watch that.
Yay for you on the burpees! I hate burpees. If you had of called out a squat/lunge or plank challenge I would be all over that, but burpees, nope! so Good for you my friend!
I totally forgot about revolving doors! I can't get through them on my own. I have to make sure someone else is coming out and I jump in fast and have the momentum going or use the regular emergency doors.
Have an awesome weekend!
If there was a starbucks growing up the roles would have been reversed; my mom would have sent us to get her the coffee before she got out of bed.
Your sons are very lucky you do that for them, or that Marylin does that EVERY day! When my son decided he no longer wants breakfast (the last three months) I just shrugged and said OK you are on your own. There is NO way I would go out and get him a latte, even though he is not a coffee person. I wouldn't even go out for ME, unless I'm already on my way to work.
