For all you Monday to Friday workers its the WEEKEND, hello Friday! What are you all up to this weekend? We are hitting home reno stores for some trim paint, kitchen & bathroom faucets and a new kitchen light. And we are going out on Saturday night with our good friends for Tacos, I can't wait, I love tacos and wish I could eat them every day.

Accountability: on plan, on point

QOTD: Has anyone else noticed that now that you have hit your goal weight, or are close to your goal weight you don't have the bulk/size behind you to do certain things? For example, last evening I was sweeping and I wanted to get in behind the couch to sweep. One of my dogs was sleeping on this couch, she is 70 lbs plus the weight of the couch and I went to move it with my hip (like I always did pre surgery) and the couch did not budge! Before when I was at my highest weight, my two dogs & my hubby could be on the couch and I could move it myself easy to sweep behind it! Never realized how much being MO affected things like that.

Hope you all have a wonderful restful weekend. See you back here Monday!

Here is my photo friday pic, its a meme I saw on FB and I really liked it because I have developed a lot of strong friendships with various people here on OH. These friendships, their understanding of me and my post op life is beyond valuable. There is one person here who in the last year or so has become my internet BFF, she is my soul sister in every way and I don't know what I would do without her in my life!

Good morning Daisy and menu friends! We had snow again yesterday but it will be melting today as it's already 28 here. Lily and I walked 3.2 miles last night in the snow after work and she had a great time. I got way over 10,000 steps yesterday. Eating was on track except for 1/2 c popcorn at break time. I fidn't hit 100 ounces of fluids so that's the goal for today. Weight today 125.2. Lily and I will do a short walk at lunch and 3 plus miles before dinner. Heres the food plan B 2/3 c earnest eats pro hot cereal L asian salad with sm crab cake D 4 oz marinated ribeye and if needed a few bites green beans S meat stick. Have a great day full of smart and conscious choices everyone and enjoy your weekend! Time to find a cup of coffee!

Hi all

so didn't make it to the gym after work like I planned. a Lady was coming at 6 to do a swap for a vintage bamboo recliner I owned. In return I got a mid century style black table lamp combo and 3 new pillows. I hung out here, did chores and started a fire in the wood heater. I got it up to 78 degrees in the house so yay me! I took a benadryl and went to bed early. I'm running an early errand this morning and finally getting the truck out of the shop so I'm super happy about that.

Weight steady, weighed this morning.

Food plans:

coffee

water

coffee

prot pancakes

veg hash with egg whites?

veg hash and eff whites again if I don't think of anything.

plans for this weekend: tomorrow I'm going to my favorite thrift stores, gym, and vet to ge*****'s heart meds.

Sunday at 12 I have puppy training.

Good morning Daisy and menu folks, busy week for me this week and I have been reading with not much time to post. I traveled locally to meet with a majority of the vendors I work with in the Montreal region. Good week though my weight has not budged and is hovering at 202. We are heading to Burlington VT this evening, Kohls, Christmas tree shop, Trader Joes and Costco. None of these stores are available in our immediate area.

QOTD - I have noticed I do not have the strength to handle this I could previously, no specifics though.

B - Egg salad

L - Salami and cheese

S - Ham roll

D - Unsure, more than likely wings....

E - night off , but will get in my 10,000 steps.

I sent the picture to Joddie yesterday as i thought this was funny, I had been a little frustrated that the scale is not moving so I sent the caption that I finally hit my goal weight, she replied that I had too much time on my hands, I still think it is funny.

That pic is the BEST! I literally LOL'd!

Your weekend sounds great, hope you don't have to travel far to get to those stores tonight.

You travel so much into Montreal the Border Guards must know you by 1st name

Have a great weekend!

I thought it was funny as well, I stole the idea from FB...

It is about an hour one way to Burlington VT, we enjoy the trip and have two options to get there and one involves taking the Ferry across the lake so we will do at least one leg of the trip on the Ferry.

So much has changed since 9/11, the border guards are always trying to trip me up with questions because I do travel across so often. They are usually concerned that I am not bringing any commercial goods and asking if I am carrying firearms is a common question as well. We are so fortunate to be neighbors, we take for granted how close we are.

Have a great weekend Daisy!

I remember being asked like one or two questions and then just driving across. It's so sad it's come to this.
